Making memories with family and meeting new friends!
Captain Martin and Rene were so warm and welcoming. We were all very comfortable from the start. Their first hand knowledge made the trip so interesting. They knew all the hot spots so see the dolphins. We had a great time! We will be rebooking with them next year.

Amazing sunset dolphin tour!
My family and I went on a sunset dolphin tour with Martin and his first mate Renee, and as my 8 year old son put it, it was an unforgettable experience. We saw many different types of wildlife, which was topped off by a friendly pod of dolphins that visited our boat, and it was an amazing part of our vacation. Martin and Renee both have excellent tips about Cape Coral, and were great with our son throughout the tour. We would recommend them to any other families looking for a tour in the area!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, this was a great day for boating and you were such nice guests!

Fantastic experience
If you want to take a boat trip along the canals in Cape Coral or look for dolphins, I really recommend Captain Martin and Rene. Super nice people who tell you a lot about the various places we drive past. They are also funny, so there were both laughs and smiles on the trip. If we go back to Cape Coral, we will come back for another trip. If you guys are taking the trip to Norway, get in touch and we can show you around. Greetings from the Norwaycrew 🇳🇴
Response from the operator: Thank you Mari, we truly enjoyed you and your family! You are always welcome back and we can't wait to also take you on a Sunset cruise in the future.

Awesome experience
The experience was amazing, the attention from the crew was excellent. My family and I loved the experience. I had choices and I am glad we went with you guys.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much Angel, we also had so much fun with you and your super nice family onboard our boat. We hope to see you and your family again and wish you all the best. Rene & Martin

Sit back and relax and let Martin do the driving!
Absolutely wonderful tour! Martin did a fantastic job of showing us beautiful canal homes on the way to spectacular ocean views. We were fortunate enough to see several dolphins as we took in the gorgeous turquoise waters off Sanibel Island. Would definitely recommend, as it was much more relaxing than renting a boat on our own. Thank you, Martin!
Response from the operator: Thank you Tressa, what a nice cruise this was, I enjoyed your company so much!

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Dolphin & Sightseeing Boat Day Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Myers.
How much does Private Dolphin & Sightseeing Boat Day Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $161 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Myers usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Dolphin & Sightseeing Boat Day Tour take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Myers is not rushed.
Is Private Dolphin & Sightseeing Boat Day Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 15 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Myers, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Dolphin & Sightseeing Boat Day Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Dolphin & Sightseeing Boat Day Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Dolphin & Sightseeing Boat Day Tour?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Myers can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Myers and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Dolphin & Sightseeing Boat Day Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Myers within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fort Myers?
+
Fort Myers is the jumping-off point for Sanibel, Captiva and Cayo Costa: shelling cruises, dolphin watches, Everglades airboats to the east and sunset sails from the beach pier. On Outty we rank every Fort Myers experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2.5-Hour Guided Group Kayak Tour on Big Hickory Pass, Southwest Florida Sunset Sail, Dolphin and Manatee Adventure Tour of Fort Myers. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fort Myers?
+
December to April for dry, calm Gulf days. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fort Myers?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
