Amazing Sunset Tour on our Wedding-Day

We absolutely loved our Sunset Dolphin Watching Tour and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We took the tour on the day of our wedding with our parents, which made the experience even more special. Our captain Martin and his wife René were absolutely incredible – so warm, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making the trip memorable. We saw so many dolphins, enjoyed a beautiful sunset, and created countless amazing memories that we will cherish forever. It was truly the perfect way to celebrate such a special day. A huge thank you to Martin and René for making our wedding day even more unforgettable! ❤️🐬🌅 We would absolutely recommend this tour and would book it again in a heartbeat!

Amazing Experience with Dolphin Boat Tours!

We had the most incredible time on the Dolphin Boat Tour, especially the sunset and dolphin-watching experience! The crew was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife. The private boat ride itself was relaxing and scenic, and we were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins swimming right beside the boat—it was truly magical. As the sun began to set, the view was absolutely breathtaking, casting a golden glow over the water and making the entire experience feel like something out of a dream. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to connect with nature and experience the beauty of the ocean 🌅🐬 The atmosphere was perfect, and the private DJ on board made the experience even more special! 🎶✨ Thank you for this amazing tour – we’ll remember it for a long time. See u next time 🤗 Duke&Duke Grand Voyages says Thank you 🐬☀️🇺🇸❤️ Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It’s an unforgettable adventure that combines the thrill of dolphin watching with the peacefulness of a stunning sunset.

Class Act - Your Personal Dolphin Tour!

From the beginning, when you are greeted in the tiki hut, until the end, when you glide back into the dock, this Dolphin Tour goes beyond expectations. Its name is 100 percent correct too. Captain Martin gave us a brief explanation of boating safety, while his wife Renee, served us fresh baked, still warm, chocolate chip cookies on the side. The boat was equipped with ice, and we enjoyed our BYOBs as we cruised through the canal towards open water. The weather on our special day happened to be perfect. (If you are not so lucky, the cancellation policy is forgiving and you are not coerced into cruising in unfavorable conditions.) Then we got what we came for! We saw more dolphin action than the Discovery Channel could offer. My guests were thrilled, because dolphins where they live in England are somewhat rare. I especially enjoyed the fact that our cruise was private. This is a class act. Don't hesitate if you are considering this excursion. It is perfect.

    Adventure Time!

Loved the long ride thru several canals to get to the Gulf Of America! It took about 40 ‘minutes and was so peaceful. We did see several dolphins and they had a baby with them. Ocean water was chopped but we felt very safe with Captain Martin.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, we weathered the storm together :) Glad you liked it and hope to see you again!

    Relaxing and joyous

What fun! We saw so many dolphins, it was relaxing and joyous. Wouldn’t trade the experience for any other boat tour available here. Martin was kind and easy going. Loved going through the canals looking at the mangroves before hitting the gulf. Would definitely recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you for making our Dolphin & Sunset Boat Tour part of your Girls Trip. You are always welcome on board! Enjoy your stay in beautiful Florida!

Private ONLY Dolphin Boat Tours: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fort Myers.

How much does Private ONLY Dolphin Boat Tours cost?

    +

Prices start at $160 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fort Myers usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private ONLY Dolphin Boat Tours take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fort Myers is not rushed.

Is Private ONLY Dolphin Boat Tours worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fort Myers, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private ONLY Dolphin Boat Tours?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private ONLY Dolphin Boat Tours suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private ONLY Dolphin Boat Tours?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fort Myers can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fort Myers and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private ONLY Dolphin Boat Tours start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fort Myers within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fort Myers?

    +

Fort Myers is the jumping-off point for Sanibel, Captiva and Cayo Costa: shelling cruises, dolphin watches, Everglades airboats to the east and sunset sails from the beach pier. On Outty we rank every Fort Myers experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2.5-Hour Guided Group Kayak Tour on Big Hickory Pass, Southwest Florida Sunset Sail, Dolphin and Manatee Adventure Tour of Fort Myers. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fort Myers?

    +

December to April for dry, calm Gulf days. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fort Myers?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
