An unforgettable day on Oahu with Mayra!

We had an absolutely fantastic day exploring Oahu with Mayra! We were a group of 4 adults and 2 children, and everyone truly enjoyed the tour from start to finish. The route along the east coast was beautiful, with so many amazing stops and breathtaking views. Diamond Head, Halona Beach Cove, Makapuʻu Lookout, Waimanalo Beach, Byodo-In Temple, Chinaman’s Hat and China Walls were all highlights. We had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take great photos without ever feeling rushed. What really made the day special was Mayra. She was incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating, and made sure we saw everything worth seeing. She shared interesting information along the way, took great care of us and was also wonderful with the kids. We felt very comfortable with her throughout the entire tour. It was the perfect way to discover this beautiful part of Oahu. A fantastic private tour and a wonderful experience for the whole family. We would definitely book with Mayra again and can 100% recommend this tour! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Great experience all around!

Myra was a very knowledgeable and caring tour guide. She contacted us before our tour to make sure that everything was In place. She was on time and was very flexable with the itinerary. She wanted to be sure that we were satisfied with the plan. She supplied snacks and water and took us to a great local place for lunch. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour and especially Myra as a tour guide.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much Steve for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us! It was truly a pleasure to show you around Oahu and create a flexible and enjoyable day for you and Rosemarie. I hope to see you again! Mahalo Nui Loa.

Manoa Falls/Diamond Head Oahu tour with Myra!

Our tour with Myra was the best tour we had on our visit to Oahu and the Big Island! Myra is an outstanding guide. We’d give her our highest recommendation. She shared a lot of historical information throughout the tour and was so hospitable. She also took us to a fabulous inexpensive restaurant frequented by the locals. We prefer visiting non-touristy food places not the standard chain restaurants or typical fast food sites. She was the perfect guide —she brought along plenty of water and even some pineapple to rehydrate us as the weather was hot and our two hikes were a bit challenging. She always made sure we paced our hike taking breaks when needed. We loved Myra and look forward to asking for her as a guide in the future.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this incredibly kind and heartfelt review. Your words truly made my day! It was such a joy spending time with you and Rocky and being part of your Hawaii adventure. I absolutely loved sharing Oahu with you, especially because you appreciated the local side of the island, the history, and the hidden places that make Hawaii so special beyond the typical tourist spots. Thank you as well for your kindness, energy, and trust during the hikes. I know the weather was warm, so I’m glad the pineapple, water, and little breaks helped make the experience more enjoyable. Creating a comfortable, personal, and memorable day for my guests truly means everything to me. You will always be welcome with Aloha Day Tours!

Private Diamond Head Crater and Manoa Falls Rainforest Experience: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Honolulu.

How much does Private Diamond Head Crater and Manoa Falls Rainforest Experience cost?

    +

Prices start at $898 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Honolulu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Diamond Head Crater and Manoa Falls Rainforest Experience take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Honolulu is not rushed.

Is Private Diamond Head Crater and Manoa Falls Rainforest Experience worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Honolulu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Diamond Head Crater and Manoa Falls Rainforest Experience?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Diamond Head Crater and Manoa Falls Rainforest Experience suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Diamond Head Crater and Manoa Falls Rainforest Experience?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Honolulu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Honolulu and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Diamond Head Crater and Manoa Falls Rainforest Experience start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Honolulu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Honolulu?

    +

Honolulu and greater Oahu run on early starts. Pearl Harbor memorial tickets release on a fixed schedule, the North Shore circle-island loop needs a full day, and the catamaran and snorkel runs off Waikiki fill fast in season. We rank on whether the operator secures Pearl Harbor entry themselves and how tight the circle-island itinerary really is. On Outty we rank every Honolulu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kevo's Beach Bus Paddleboard Snorkel Adventure North Shore Oahu, Pearl Harbor City Tour, Ultimate Pearl Harbor Circle Island. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Honolulu?

    +

April to June and September to November, between the wet season and peak crowds. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Honolulu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
