Do not leave Marrakech without offering this dinner show.. everything is perfect
To finish a stay in Marrakech I recommend this evening a little magic. Everything is admirably well organized: Welcoming, dinner, shows transfer from ryad to desert everything was perfect.

I'll start this review by clarifying that we hired this dinner with Aviator, and it was a disaster. They do not provide you with information or options for other activities. Our driver sent us an SMS saying he was picking us up at 17:25 and at 16:50 he called us to say he had been wrong and we had to be in 10 minutes at the meeting point, which was more than 10min from our hotel! We had to run out and we couldn't get our act together as we wanted and we had to run, and when we arrived they were gone, although they did happen later. They put us together with a big group and we all do different activities but when you get to the desert they let you go and tell you where the bar is and you are. the meal itself, pretty poor, small potato salad to start and Tajine later, and for dessert 2 pieces of fruit. The wine goes part way, which if they clarify. The show is entertaining, but it's not a big deal either, and depending on which package you chose, you get put in the back of the tent where you dine and you don't really see anything, which was our case, I guess because those who took quad bikes or camel ride pay more and therefore have the right to better views? Anyway, I would usually book it elsewhere or do more research, because for the price it is, I think it was not up to what we expected!

Memorable trek in the Sahara
We made the trip of 3 days, 2 nights in the Sahara from M’Hamid. The day before we left, we were very well received at Sahid with an excellent dinner and a comfortable night under the stars in the very hot desert climate. The first day consisted of a 4-5 hour camel ride with a long break during the warmer hours of the day to enjoy a tagine cooked on the fire and an afternoon nap. The first night in a camp was comfortable, the showers and toilets were rudimentary as expected given the desert, but the host was welcoming and the food was good! We were even amazed to have a bottle of very cold water for supper, a luxury in the Sahara! The next morning, Khalil, the owner of Desertbrise, joined us in a 4x4 to go to the dunes of Erg Chigaga, which we could explore in the afternoon. This camp was frankly well, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were functional and most importantly, we were very well received by the camp staff. Finally, on the last day, we made our way to M’Hamid and arrived early around 10:00 as agreed. We enjoyed the conversations with Khalil, his quick answers and the simplicity with which we were able to organize the trip made us choose Desertbrise. We even had to move our departure having underestimated the travel time to Morocco, which was not at all complicated. He also took good care of us in all the hubbub of the many desert travel vendors when we arrived in M’Hamid. The only point I want to make is that Khalil was quite insistent that we write this review, which is normal given the positive spinoffs of a #1 on TripAdvisor. Just take into account that the number of comments is possibly biased by this type of request from its customers. My comments are nevertheless positive and I highly appreciated the experience with Desertbrise and I recommend this agency without hesitation!
Response from the operator: Dear,Simon Thank you so much for taking the time to write your review of our Agency, your comments are very much valued. We really appreciate your kind words and many thanks for your recommendation. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you on your next trip to Morocco. Best Regards, KHALIL.

The most pleasant experiences
Very glad I came across this organization!!! We decided to go to the desert with the girl for one night, wrote to the vots up, arranged a tour and we were met in Mhamida, as we were in the car, we were escorted to the parking lot and afterwards put on camels. On the way to the camp, we were shown a local village. The camp itself was very pleasant, near the small dunes, where we ran straight to take pictures :) On the same day I had a birthday, when asked if anything was available for birthday parties, I was given a discount for two, and in the evening it was a surprise to me when they took out the cake!!!! Sleeping in the cabins was hot because they'd been heating up all day, so we were offered a place to sleep outside, which we immediately agreed to and we were taken out of the bed next to our cabin. It was so nice falling asleep in the open and knowing you were in the dunes! We woke up the next morning, we were fed a traditional breakfast and we rode back on camels. It's been an unforgettable journey! Next time we plan to go for 3 days :) Thank you so much Desertbrise Travel!!!
Response from the operator: Dear Therealdrozdov, Thanks for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are thrilled that you loved your experience; our staff will definitely be happy to read what you wrote. We put customer experience and satisfaction as our priority, and your review reaffirms the hard work we put in every day. So thanks for your kind words and we look forward to seeing you again.

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Desert Agafay Dinner show & Camel Ride: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does Private Desert Agafay Dinner show & Camel Ride cost?
+
Prices start at $100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Desert Agafay Dinner show & Camel Ride take?
+
Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is Private Desert Agafay Dinner show & Camel Ride worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Desert Agafay Dinner show & Camel Ride?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Desert Agafay Dinner show & Camel Ride suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 6. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Desert Agafay Dinner show & Camel Ride?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Desert Agafay Dinner show & Camel Ride start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
