Fantastic Rabat Day Tour

We had a great day out with Nabil touring Rabat. He was incredibly considerate and ensured we were happy and comfortable the whole time. It was great having the flexibility of a private tour to tailor it to our needs. The lunch stop was a highlight, we enjoyed a delicious local meal in a gorgeous setting with lovely staff. We’d definitely recommend Nabil as a fantastic guide.

Rabat trip worth spending the day!

We had a very pleasant ride from Casablanca to Rabat for a day trip with our driver Naveen. He was very knowledgeable and share his personal stories which were very touching. We visited all of the sites as part of the tour and the highlight was late lunch at a sea side Moroccan restaurant - Dar Naji. One of the best Tajins we had in the last 2 weeks of eating at various Moroccan restaurants from Marrakesh to Casablanca. This trip was worth it!

The easy way to tour Rabat from Casablanca

Rashid was an excellent driver and general tour guide. He provided a lot of commentary as we drove to, from, and in Rabat and answered several of the questions I raised during the trip. When we got to locations that had local guides within them, he would make sure that our admissions were okay and then would wait for us to return. He even provided water and snacks for us! We would definitely use Rashid's services again.

Rabat is a beautiful...

Rabat is a beautiful place to see and a day tour is more than enough time to visit. A few reasons for a low rating. The driver was nice and friendly and took us to all the places listed. He also was very accommodating and allowed us to stop on the way to get coffee. The tour company has this listed as a tour, this was not a tour but a driver dropping us off at the listed locations. For the first stop, Bab Chella, Viator shows free admission. There is a cost that you have to pay to enter, 70 dirhams per person for the non-guided tour option. It is not a significant cost however, it shouldn’t be listed as free as this is not transparent. Secondly, to enter the royal palace, you need to bring your passport. This was not advised to us and so we were not able to go see it as we did not carry our passports with us. The Viator description also states free wifi in the car. There was no wifi. Overall, the cost of this trip was not worth the value. You can take a train from Casablanca to Rabat and walk around yourself or take a short taxi rides once in Rabat if needed. All places to see are close so it wouldn’t cost much. We also did a Marrakech tour through a different tour provider and it cost the same as Rabat but was MUCH better. We had a driver and a tour guide to show us around Marrakech. When comparing the tour experiences, we were disappointed and would not recommend this tour company.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you found the driver friendly and accommodating. Regarding your comments, please note that Chellah admission is not included, and this information is clearly mentioned in the tour description. The same applies to the Royal Palace, where it is stated that visitors must carry their passport if they wish to enter inside. If you look at our reviews, you’ll see that almost all of our customers are very happy with our tours, and we always do our best to provide a professional and enjoyable experience for every guest.

Private Day Trip to Rabat Departure from Casablanca: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Casablanca.

How much does Private Day Trip to Rabat Departure from Casablanca cost?

+

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Casablanca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Day Trip to Rabat Departure from Casablanca take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Casablanca is not rushed.

Is Private Day Trip to Rabat Departure from Casablanca worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 59 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Casablanca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Day Trip to Rabat Departure from Casablanca?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Day Trip to Rabat Departure from Casablanca suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Day Trip to Rabat Departure from Casablanca?

+

Around 21 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Casablanca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Casablanca and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Day Trip to Rabat Departure from Casablanca start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Casablanca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Casablanca?

+

On Outty we rank every Casablanca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Casablanca Half-day Guided Tour with Hassan II mosque ticket, Private Guided Tour of Casablanca Including Mosque Entrance, Fez Guided Tour with lunch from Casablanca. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Casablanca?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Casablanca?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
