Easy take number one❤️
Great service provider, serious and professional. The vehicles are top-notch, air-conditioned. We were lucky to have Redouane as a driver, this guy is so kind and so caring, I highly recommend him to you. He drove us to Agafay explore desert, a soothing spot accompanied by a dance party and dinner, such a great atmosphere, quad biking too. The 2nd day he took us to Ourika. It was great there too, a stop at a Berber rug manufacturing and sales shop, then he had us visit an association where women make various natural products for skin and hair and plenty of other things to come and discover. We also saw waterfalls, a very pretty setting to come and see absolutely. Thanks again to you Redouane🥰

One of the weirdest tour experiences
The driver asked if we wanted to hire a tour guide since he's just the driver, five minutes into the drive. I had to show him the Viator description before he called his boss and confirmed a local guide was included. Halfway through the hiking, the guide asked us if we want to go higher, and then indicated it would cost us extra. We were like, WTF? He said he had 20+ years of experience but we don't feel like we got much out of the "guide" part. Most of the time he was rushing. During lunch, we saw him picked up another batch of tourists and understood why he was rushing us. The driver also stopped by an argon oil co-op which was unexpected, though it's a good pitstop. The guide also stopped by a masonry which tried to sell us some of the stonework (they are beautiful btw). Neither one of these were on the itinerary so we felt like it's unwarranted. The valley and the waterfall are beautiful and the Berber house we visited was a surprisingly a good experience. We have a lunch in one of the many riverside restaurants. The food is a meh but the scenery is top-notch.

Stunning day memories for life
The private air conditioner Mercedes was comfortable. We stopped at 3 shopping sites, which gave insight into how things are made, the stunning Berber culture and people. Pottery, carpets and Argan oils. We spent too much but hopefully happy with our authentic products. The driver and guide were excellent very friendly, accommodating and caring. Mohammed was the driver he was gentle and calm. The guides name escapes me but he was fab and looked after my 7 year old on the steep climb to the waterfall which was an hour hike. Up steep hills. A chance to dip in the water and shop with the stone masons…. Then lunch by the river side was lush. Thank you

The friendliest, most knowledgeable guide!
We had a wonderful day! We had the same driver who met us at the airport for our transfer and it was like greeting an old friend! Mourad was friendly, informative and weren’t above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful day. The hike to the waterfall was a perfect length and the guide was superb. The drinks and lunch venues were perfect. We too some amazing photos - with Mourad’s help! Would highly recommend!

Excellent experience with fantastic Mourad
A lovely day. Mourad was a brilliant driver and tour guide. Friendly and happy to answers any questions and offer information but never intrusive which is a fine line on a private tour. He also did both our airport runs and he turns up on time, with a welcome and way that makes you feel totally relaxed. He knows what he's doing. I would highly recommend him and the lovely day at had out with Easy Take Travel. My friend did all the arranging with the company but I know it was straightforward and easy. The drive through beautiful scenery is magnificent and lunch by the river was a perfect way to relax in the quiet of the valley. The temperature is quite a bit cooler than in Marrakech so good to take an extra layer or go on a day when you see the temperature in Marrakech might be a bit too hot.

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
private day trip to Ourika Valley from marrakech: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does private day trip to Ourika Valley from marrakech cost?
+
Prices start at $19 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does private day trip to Ourika Valley from marrakech take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is private day trip to Ourika Valley from marrakech worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 33 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule private day trip to Ourika Valley from marrakech?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is private day trip to Ourika Valley from marrakech suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book private day trip to Ourika Valley from marrakech?
+
Around 12 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does private day trip to Ourika Valley from marrakech start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
