A GRAND DAY in Bulgaria with Ed from Eddex Travel! Highly Recommend this tour for a beautiful trip over the border! A+!

What a treat to be picked up by Ed of Eddex Travel right at a convenient spot in Old Town, Bucharest to embark on an unforgettable adventure over the border to Bulgaria. Ed is so personable and friendly, yet eagerly professional, and put us at immediate ease for our journey. A comfortable vehicle for the driver and three travelers on a fun drive out into a new country that we never would have done ourselves. Ed seamlessly navigated through the border crossings with almost no delay, allowing us optimal time in Bulgaria at the amazing sites. In addition to great conversation and wonderful insight into the cultures and history of the region, Ed also offered interesting information at each of the sites we visited. His English is excellent and you feel like you are riding with a cousin right from the start. There is really no better treat than to have a private car hire and guide with you for the entirety of the day. Coming from the United States, it could not have been a more efficient and cost effective adventure. Ed made great recommendations regarding different kinds of restaurants and brought us to a perfect souvenir spot as well. Veliko Tarnovo and the great rock monasteries stand alone as touring sites, both being quite enjoyable and well worth the time. We were blessed with terrific weather, but even in lesser circumstances, it would have been a worthwhile travel day out of Bucharest. Charming, medieval towns and steps back in time with stories of historical significance from Ed and local guides at the sites made for an unforgettable day. We learned a lot in a small amount of time and were able to enjoy grand vistas of gorgeous mountainous countryside in context of hundreds of years of history in a region we do not hear much about. Do yourself a favor and hire Ed for this or other tours as I’m sure he will provide the same inspiring and congenial experience. Highest praise for a memorable adventure. Recommended for anyone looking for a personalized day trip! Jeff Grossman New York, USA

    Perfect Day Trip

Eddie did an excellent job preparing our trip and understanding our needs. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He made the entire experience feel like we were traveling with family rather than a guide. He was always on time and provided excellent communication before and during the trip.
