Best Tour Guide in Town, don't bother going with anyone else!

Best Tour Guide in Town, don't bother going with anyone else! Panha is simply wonderful, his spoken English is perfect, he takes trouble to make you feel absolutely comfortable . And most importantly his driving is soooo safe, amongst the craziness of tuk tuk drivers and trucks buzzing around the roads and highways - don't forget to factor this into your choice. Well educated, highly knowledgeable, and I liked the fact he didn't promote all kinds of other tours and activities like others do. Highly recommended. RK from London UK.

Response from the operator: Dear Riaz, I hope you are doing well. Thanks 🙏 so much for your support Angkor Cab and especially give your honest experience in this tour you have made. It was a great pleasure to serve you and your family around my city. I wish you and your family stay healthy to keep traveling to see the beautiful world especially supporting families who need help. Sincerely yours, Panha Angkor Cab

Visiting temples with local expert

In May 2019, Panha showed us all the distant temples and Angkor Wat in a single day. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and detailed. His English skills were solid and he showed the entire area within a reasonable time frame. Our tour also included the morning sunrise at Angkor Wat. I would highly recommend Panha to anyone who is interested to see the area.

Response from the operator: Dear Brock, Good evening Brock, how are you ? I hope you are doing well. Thanks so much for taking your time to write me an excellent review for page readers. I am very appreciate your help. I am very happy to hear that you had a great time during your stay in Cambodia. It a great pleasure to serve you and your brother around Siem Reap. Sincerely Panha

We liked this tour more than Angkor...

We liked this tour more than Angkor Wat as it wasn't as crowded. Our tour guide Panha was very informative and had a lot of really good information to share with us. After visiting the diffeent temples he offered to take us on the river tour that led us to the lake where locals live. The tour came with lunch which was delicious and Panha had cool towels and lots of water to keep us cold and hydrated. He was always willing to take pictures for us as well. After completing the tour Panha offered to take us to another temple called Preah Vihear which is on the border of Thailand and Cambodia. This was a very isolated temple that was worth the drive to visit.

Response from the operator: Dear Camille, Thanks so much for supporting Angkor Cab, we are coming back now as Cambodia allows all vaccinated travelers could visit Cambodia freely like before the covid pandemic. I hope you and your family are doing very well and happy. Kind regards Panha

Private Day Tour to Koh Ker Off the Beaten Track: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.

How much does Private Day Tour to Koh Ker Off the Beaten Track cost?

+

Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Day Tour to Koh Ker Off the Beaten Track take?

+

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.

Is Private Day Tour to Koh Ker Off the Beaten Track worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Day Tour to Koh Ker Off the Beaten Track?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Day Tour to Koh Ker Off the Beaten Track suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Day Tour to Koh Ker Off the Beaten Track?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Day Tour to Koh Ker Off the Beaten Track start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?

+

On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Siem Reap?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
