    An unforgettable experience with Adel

My mother and I planned a dream trip to Egypt. We hired Adel as our tour guide and had the most incredible 8hr tour that included the pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Saqqara and Memphis. Adel is very knowledgeable and shared great insight into the history of ancient Egypt. We left knowing so much! We will be forever grateful for his hospitality. I also want to add that he is a great photographer and will take great pictures of you at the landmarks! Thank you again Adel we will see you again soon!

    Amazing experience

Adel made our Giza and Saqqara day tour truly memorable. His knowledge of ancient Egyptian history is remarkable. He brought the sites to life in a way that no guidebook ever could, weaving in context and stories that made every moment feel meaningful rather than just a tick-box exercise. What impressed us most was his ability to read what we needed on the day. He tailored the pace and focus entirely to us, never rushing or overloading us with information we hadn’t asked for. He’s a qualified professional in every sense, clearly experienced, well-credentialed, and deeply passionate about what he does. Equally important for anyone visiting Egypt: Adel never once pressured us into anything, but when it came to negotiating on our behalf, whether for access, extras, or local vendors, he was quietly brilliant at it. We felt completely looked after without any of the stress that can sometimes come with navigating these sites independently. If you’re visiting Giza or Saqqara and want a guide who is knowledgeable, genuinely warm, and fully focused on your experience, Adel is the one to book

Amazing Tour Company, Egyptologist and Service

My wife and I visited Cairo and Luxor from the U.S. and had a wonderful experience with this tour company and our tour guide & egyptologist Adel. Not only we visited the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx and the step pyramid of Saqqara, but we got to experience an exclusive VIP tour of the Great Pyramid of Khufu for 2 hours at night, including visiting the subterranean chamber and the queen's chamber (which are closed to the public) along with the King's chamber, all to ourselves. This exclusive VIP tour requires special permit and Adel and his company managed to secure this permit for us on short notice. They provided transportation in a nice car and overall made this trip very memorable. For our Visit to Luxor, Adel connected us with his tour agency in Luxor and we visited many sights including Valley of the alings, Karnak and Luxor temples with similar quality service in Luxor. Overall I appreciate the quality of service and the itinerary they set for us and highly recommend Adel and his tour company to tourists especially those traveling from western countries.

    Truly exceptional

Our recent trip to Egypt was truly unforgettable, all thanks to our exceptional guide, Adel. His extensive knowledge and professionalism were second to none, making our private tours deeply engaging. Our experience was far from standard tours, it felt uniquely special and tailored just for us. Without a doubt, he is the only Egyptologist guide I would ever consider booking again for future visits to Egypt.

Private day tour to Giza pyramids ,Memphis and Sakkara: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Private day tour to Giza pyramids ,Memphis and Sakkara cost?

    +

Prices start at $15 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private day tour to Giza pyramids ,Memphis and Sakkara take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Private day tour to Giza pyramids ,Memphis and Sakkara worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 84 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 78 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private day tour to Giza pyramids ,Memphis and Sakkara?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private day tour to Giza pyramids ,Memphis and Sakkara suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private day tour to Giza pyramids ,Memphis and Sakkara?

    +

Around 27 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private day tour to Giza pyramids ,Memphis and Sakkara start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
