The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. A tour is mandatory to enjoy the Pyramids
We had a very nice experience with our driver and our guide. Picking us up at out hotel and guiding us through the pyramids but also additional "shops" for Papyrus/Cosmetic (not necessary and mostly for tourists but still enjoyable). We had the lunch in again a very touristic place but the food was nice. The important was to enjoy all the sites of the Pyramids which we did and moneywise it totally worth it. I definitely recommend a tour to go anywhere in Egypt.
