Once we get to Prizren the first attraction to visit is the fortress of Prizren. Known also the “Crown of Prizren” it has also been the area of some of the ancients settlements of the old city. It offers an amazing, picturesque view of the city where numerous mosques and minarets are fused with the churches, houses, and Turkish baths.

The Sinan Pasha Mosque II
Walking in Prizren. Situated in the heart of the city, it is the biggest and the most visited mosque in the city. Still functional even today, this mosque will amaze you with the elegant decor and unique square shape of the main building., Build at the beginning of the 18th century this mosque has been restored and fanatically preserved as one of the greatest religious and cultural values of the city.

Albanian League of Prizren Museum [Muzeu Lidhja Shqiptare e Prizrenit]
Considered also as one of the most important meetings of Albanian Patriots of the 19th Century, the League of Prizren was a Political and Patriotic movement who wanted to save Albanian Lands from being divided inbetween Balkan Countries. Visit at the house of League and The Ethnographic Museum. It is an interesting panorama of the traditional local life of Traditional Kosovo.

Our Lady of Ljevis
Closed for renovation, this 14th Century church is unique in its style and values. Protected now by UNESCO it was highly damaged in 2004. Build by the same ruler as the mon monastery of Gracanica, part of the Unesco as well.

Day out to Prizen from Tirana with a brilliant guide, Endri
We had a brilliant guide in Endri who gave us an insight into both the historical sights (the Albania League of Prizen was particularly amazing) and day to day life in Albania before and after communism. It was great having the private tour as this gave us so much flexibility. Highly recommended.

Sunday Funday in Kosovo
More fun than I expected since Prizren was having a car show on a nice Sunday that packed the place with families with a lot going on. I enjoyed it a lot and our guide took us to a great place to buy lunch. The ride over and back was just long enough to make it feel adventurous without overly long delays at the border crossings. Plus Engjell is a knowledgeable and personable guide who shared a lot of background information that was quite interesting. I highly recommend this mini-adventure to Kosovo. Well worth the time and money.

Great day trip!
Xhulio was an amazing tour guide and we learned so much about the history of Kosovo and Albania. Our trip got off to a rocky start as we got a flat tire but our guide found a mechanic nearby and it was patched up and fixed within an hour! Would highly recommend this tour!
