- The Basilica of Saint Nicholas is open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 11 am to 4 pm, Monday and Saturday from 12pm to 3pm. Interior tours during masses and scheduled events are limited, so if the Basilica is closed at the time of your tour, we may replace it with a visit to the Westerkerk or a similar attraction instead.
- Skip-the-line tickets to the Top-rated Skydeck allow you to enter faster without purchasing tickets on the spot, but you may have to wait in line for ticket validation and mandatory security checks.
- Due to city regulations, guided tours are not allowed to pass through the Red Light District, so you will see the Oude Kerk from a nearby street.
- We will arrange private transfers in a standard car (sedan) for groups of 1-4 people, and in a larger van for groups of 5 people and more.
- Due to local transportation regulations, groups larger than 7 people will be split into 2 (or more) vehicles during transfers.
- There will be 1 guide per 15 people, so if you book a tour for more than 7 people the guide will travel in only one of the cars and give commentary for the whole group during stops at the attractions.
- For larger groups, not everyone will travel with a guide on board. Don't worry, as there will be many stops on this tour so you will have many oppotunities to chat with your guide. Both the guide and your English-speaking drivers will be happy to answer your questions in the car.
- In Amsterdam, the rule is that a licensed guide can show a group of 1-15 people. For 16-30 people we will provide service of 2 licensed guides. For 31-45 people we will provide the service of 3 licensed guides.

Fantastic tour
Our private tour guide was Remo. He was on time to pick us up from the cruise port and take us on a journey through highlights of Amsterdam. Remo spoke clearly explaining the culture and had a world of information about Amsterdam and its people. I would suggest that instead of the three-hour tour, take the 6- or 7-hour tour since there was limited time exploring this great port city. I would recommend this tour, especially if you are on a cruise.
