Disappointing
I had a helpful and kind driver. However I did not see most of El Amarna and the driver did not recognize the pictures of Amarna sites I showed him.

Amarna is a must visit site!
My dad and I ended up spending the entire time walking around the Amarna site. It’s massive and you need a full day, if not longer to see everything! Our driver was wonderful and very accommodating! Our tour guide was part of the archaeological dig around the Amarna site and was very knowledgeable about the hieroglyphics. Easily one of my favourite days in Egypt!
Response from the operator: Dear Abigail_D, Thank you so much for sharing your incredible experience! We're delighted to hear that you and your dad enjoyed exploring the fascinating Amarna site. It's indeed a place that requires time to fully appreciate its historical significance and beauty. We’re thrilled that our driver and your knowledgeable guide, with their firsthand experience of the archaeological work, made your visit even more special. Hearing that it was one of your favorite days in Egypt truly warms our hearts! We hope to welcome you back for more adventures in the future. Warm regards, Hamdy Ahmed Emo Tours Team
