Exploration and a History Lesson We loved this tour

Your Egypt Tours was fantastic. They arranged everything from our airport pickup to the pyramids, museums, Nile excursion and more. We very much loved our great Egyptologist Mamdouh who was a wealth of knowledge on Egyptian history, religious history and all the wonderful architecture in Cairo his expertise made a huge difference in our enjoyment of seeing all the sites. If we are ever back in Egypt we will certainly use Your Egypt Tours again.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you loved your tour and had such a meaningful experience exploring Egypt’s rich history and culture with us. It’s fantastic to know that Mamdouh’s deep knowledge and passion brought the sites to life for you—he truly is an exceptional Egyptologist, and we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words. We’re so glad you enjoyed every part of your journey, from the pyramids to the museums and the Nile excursion. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back anytime you return to Egypt.

Your Egypt Tours Made Our First Egypt Visit Amazing!

It can be quite overwhelming trying to decide on a tour group thanks to the myriad options available, but after lots of research, I decided on YET and truly could not be happier with my experience! My friend and I only had two days in Egypt so we booked a full day in Cairo and a full day in Luxor - we reached out to YET after deciding on one of their travel packages since we wanted to add some additional activities like hot air balloon riding and a felucca ride. YET was a great communicator every step of the way and crafted a perfect itinerary for us - the famous spots, the airplane rides between cities, the van pick ups, etc. Everything was seamless and the YET members are there for you on WhatsApp every step of the way. As someone who meticulously likes to plan things, I was so impressed and so appreciated knowing we were in good hands. Our tour guides (Ash and Mamdouh) were also spectacular! They relayed all the rich history and facts we were looking for, while also informing us on what to keep our eyes out for in the touristy spots they are not allowed to go into (to minimize crowds). Truly, each of them went above and beyond and made the trip as fantastic as it was. I think it's also important to state how SAFE my friend and I felt the entire time - as two solo female travelers we never felt uncomfortable and that's in large part due to MET and how they operate. Not only were we with our guides the entire time, but our luggage (which was in the van with us all day) was safely guarded by the drivers who never leave the vehicle and are always just a stone's throw away to take us to our next destination. I really can't say enough good things about Your Egypt Tours!! As a world traveler, they are one of the best tour groups I have ever come across! I know it can be overwhelming to resarch and read a bunch of reviews, but trust when I say YET is 100% worth it!

Fantastic Cairo Day Tour

YET is an amazing tour company. From the moment I reached out, the team provided impeccable customer service by creating a custom tour for my needs and sending me tips and tricks as a solo traveler. My tour guide Mamdouh (and driver Mamdouh 2) were some of the kindest people I met. Mamdouh was passionate about the history, spoke very good English and was so attentive to making sure I had a great time. Could not recommend them more!

Exceptional Service

Booked a tour with only a few days before arrival. Wasn’t sure if I’d get the chance to book it but I did no problems. I was there Monday and Tuesday. My tour guide Ahmed was very informative and our driver kept me safe from the crazy Cairo traffic. If you are from the USA prepare yourself. It’s wild. It’s almost an adventure itself. Ahmed showed me everything and explained all the possible knowledge and history of everything. He even took my picture at all monuments. The only thing is that I wish I could have had a little more time in between explanations to take my own pictures as i like to take artistic shots. Other than that I’d really recommend this touring company. Beware: do not by any means accept items or take photographs of the locals at the monuments, unless you want to... they will demand tips.

12h Layover well spent!

My friend and I had a 12 hour layover in Cairo and so we decided to book a tour with this company. Everything offered was delivered and our tour guide, Ibrahim, was very informative, nice, organized and accommodating. Our driver (sorry I forgot his name) was nice and drove smoothly. From the airport, we were driven to Giza Pyramids, and then to The Papyrus Museum. After seeing first hand how the ancient paper is made we took a street food break before entering Khan el-Khalili Market at sunset (the best time to go). By 5:30 pm, we were at the Museum. It was a pleasure to learn from Ibrahim. My personal highlight: I had already been to Cairo 6 months prior so it was wonderful to revisit these places. It felt great to discuss what I had learned with my tour guide. I was also the one who offered food ideas and they were met with excitement without any disruption to the tour.

Private Day Tour Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan El Khalili: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.

How much does Private Day Tour Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan El Khalili cost?

+

Prices start at $56 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Day Tour Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan El Khalili take?

+

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.

Is Private Day Tour Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan El Khalili worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Day Tour Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan El Khalili?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Day Tour Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan El Khalili suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Day Tour Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan El Khalili?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Day Tour Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum & Khan El Khalili start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cairo?

+

On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cairo?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cairo?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
