Quartier Habous
Well, here you will spend the majority of the time, a multitude of traditional shops around. The decore is so captivating to the extent that you don't feel time passing. The village built with all the commodities that local Moroccan would need, it was primarily meant to accommodate new dwellers coming from different regions of the kingdom. It has all the necessary facilities that locals will need, namely mosques, community oven, houses and of course the majestic palace. The subtle mixture between French architecture and moorish style is truly awesome. However, because of these features the village ended attracting wealthy businessmen instead this .explains the number of shops owned by wealthy people from Fes.

A thorough, educational and lovely day of touring and experiencing
Issam is the only guide you should hire to immerse in the Casa Blanca experience. He took us and let us experience key places of importance as well as visiting and interacting with local merchants. We saw the city as well as the small streets. I wanted to gain understanding of culture and religious differences. He incorporated that , for me, into so many discussions. We visited the famous Mosque, which is not readily open for tourism... If you are on a cruise, you will only see part of the outside. This experience was intimate and amazing. The transport between sites was totally seamless. A very comfortable car and a driver that just always appeared to take us to the next place. AWESOME. Issam is extremely generous with his time. He quietly allows the visitor to determine the pace by reading their interests.
Response from the operator: Wow, thank you so much for such a thoughtful review! It was a real pleasure showing you around Casablanca and sharing not just its famous landmarks, but also the everyday life, traditions, and stories that make this city so special. I especially enjoyed our conversations about culture and religion. For me, that's what a great private tour is all about: connecting with people, exploring at your own pace, and experiencing the city beyond the usual tourist stops. I'm so glad you enjoyed our time together, and I hope our paths cross again somewhere in Morocco! Warm regards Issam

Amazing day getting to see all of Casablanca
We had a wonderful time with Issam getting to know Casablanca and Morocco in this informative tour of the city. Issam is knowledgeable and has a very friendly personality and ensured my partner and I felt welcomed. If you are looking for a guide in Morocco, I would highly recommend Issam!
Response from the operator: Hi Devin, Thank you so much for the review and the recommendation! I really appreciate it. I’d love to show you around Morocco on a multi-day tour and share even more of the country’s culture and hidden gems. Say hi to everyone for me, and stay tuned! All the best Issam

What an enriching experience!
What an enriching experience! Our guide, Issam, could not have been a better match for us. We are curious people with many questions and Issam truly enjoyed answering them and sharing his knowledge of his country. The Hassan II Mosque is an incredibly beautiful place. The Moorish architecture alone is worth seeing. However Issam, being open to all questions, shared information about Islam and the Muslim people that made this experience extra special and gave me a deeper understanding of the religion. Issam took us to the Habbous Market. We bought some spices and Issam took us to the Grillade Aít Baamran restaurant for lunch. At the restaurant we ate camel! It was served 2 ways. Note that this was our choice and not a requirement on the tour. Of course we had the traditional mint tea with the meal. We experienced a number of other things that rounded out the day perfectly.
Response from the operator: Hi Steven, Thank you so much for the awesome review. I really enjoyed spending the day with you both! your curiosity and all your questions made the tour a lot of fun for me too. I’m glad the Hassan II Mosque and our conversations gave you a deeper look into Moroccan culture and Islam. And I’m happy you liked the Habbous Market and the camel lunch! definitely not something you try every day! Thanks again for choosing to explore Casablanca with me. Hope we get to meet again on your next trip to Morocco. All the best Issam

Private Tour of Casablanca with Issam
Issam was a wonderful guide. He listened to what we wanted to see but also took us to a few special places we would not have thought to go on our own. I felt like I got to know him personally during our tour which made it much more fun. Thank you Issam!
Response from the operator: Hi Greg, The pleasure’s all mine. I had a blast sharing all those little Morocco and Casablanca gems with you. Really appreciate you taking the time to drop a review, and I hope we cross paths again down the road. Best, Issam

A great private tour worthy
We had an unexpected day in Casablanca when our Cruise Ship itinerary was amended due to weather considerations. We were able to arrange a walking tour with Issam and met him at the cruise shuttle drop off point. He is extremely passionate about the history of the area and has an easy way of relating it. He took us to areas which were not included on our Cruise Ship Tour and which we would not have found on our own, local markets and parks as well as the Medina and we enjoyed a delicious local pastry en route. We learned a great deal about life in general in the area, which it is usually not possible to do on a large tour. We were happy to walk a fair distance and it was nearly all on the level.
Response from the operator: Hi Martha Thank you for taking the time to leave a review through the company that arranged your tour with me. It was an honor showing Casablanca to such a wonderful group of doctors. I’m really glad you enjoyed everything I shared with you about the city. Accommodating your needs felt completely natural, it’s simply part of Moroccan hospitality. Wishing you all the very best, and I hope we meet again for another adventure in a different city. Have a safe sail Issam
