    What you'll see and do

    1. Danilia Village Corfu

Danilia Village is located at central Corfu, at a 10km distance from the Corfu airport and Corfu Town. Danilia Village has no permanent residents, as it’s a replica of a 1930’s traditional Corfiot village, used as a museum, filming set, wedding and private events set. The village was rebuilt in the 1970’s after an earthquake by the Boua family as an open-air museum, approaching the atmosphere of the old city of Corfu, in a colourful traditional village style. In Danilia Village you can find two squares, a church, a folklore museum, a traditional cafe, an open-air and an indoor taverna and other replicas of old shops and buildings, filled with antique items. Danilia Village is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy some time in a scenic environment away from modern reality, relax and experience learning Corfu’s history in a set that fits the period. The village is now part of the Grecotel chain, and it’s open to the public.

    2. Paleokastritsa

Paleokastritsa is arguably the most famous picturesque village of the island of Corfu, located 25 km northwest of Corfu Town. The word Paleokastritsa literally means old little castle, named after Angelokastro, a Byzantine castle that stands on a hill over the village. This cosmopolitan resort stretches along a coastal road around stunning bays and a picturesque harbor where the excursion boats depart for the nearby, isolated beaches. At the end of the road, right after the main harbor is the Monastery of the Virgin Mary that overlooks the village. The monastery hosts an interesting collection of post-Byzantine icons, books and other objects. There, you will discover precious icons from the 15th century.

      90 minutes here

    3. Kanoni

The location of Kanoni with the church of Panagia Vlacherna below and the Mouse Island (Pontikonissi) are the most famous and photographed spots of Corfu. Legend has it, that Mouse Island was formed when the ship that had taken Odysseus back to Ithaca, his home port, was turned into stone by Poseidon, god of the sea, angry at being defied by the Phaeacians. It is also very frequent that you see an airplane landing and taking off from this spot, as the airport of Corfu is right next to Kanoni.

      30 minutes here

    4. Corfu Old Town

Corfu town, especially for its oldest part, is one of the most charming and romantic places of all of Greece. It is a perfect example of old Venetian and Byzantine architecture, that will fascinate you with its little streets and its panoramic points. Surrounded by the sea, the old town of Kerkyra is closed between the two Venetian fortresses. Walking between high old houses, you can buy traditional products, walk around the narrow cobblestone streets or kantounia as the locals call them, old Venetian walls and hidden gardens. Every single building, every single street will appear like an open museum, but the joie de vivre of the local people will remind you that the old town is also full of life and full of surprises. The paved streets and the old buildings will guide you to the large beautiful Esplanade and the romantic gallery of Liston; a place that you can’t miss out on visiting while you're on the island.

    Great service

Thank you to the Vanakee team and our driver Odysseus for an excellent experience. We had 11 people in our group including one grandmother with a walker. We scheduled a full day to visit a beach and a bee farm. Odysseus was very helpful. The van was new, clean, and had plenty of space for all of us. He even had plenty of water on board too. Also the booking process was very easy. We confirmed plans and pricing over email very quickly, made a down payment and paid the driver the balance at the end of the day. Highly recommend this great service.

Response from the operator: We really appreciate your kind words. Thank you very much.

Amazing tour of Corfu, highly recommend!

Out of the ports of call on our Mediterranean cruise, Corfu was one of the most memorable for us. Our driver (I unfortunately forgot his name, but I think it might have been Andreas) was so knowledgable and kind! We were traveling with grandparents, and he was very accommodating. He made sure to find drop off/pick up spots that were easily accessible for them, and still brought us to so many amazing spots around Corfu (such as beautiful view points). Throughout the tour, he explained the history of Corfu, the importance of various foods, and answered the many questions that my husband and daughter had for him! He also learned that we enjoy shopping for souvenirs and brought us to a fantastic street with good souvenirs and great prices. We would definitely recommend this tour, as it was convenient for our family of 6, and made traveling around Corfu so much more fun!

Private Corfu Full-day tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Corfu.

How much does Private Corfu Full-day tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $63 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Corfu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Corfu Full-day tour take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Corfu is not rushed.

Is Private Corfu Full-day tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Corfu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Corfu Full-day tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Corfu Full-day tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Corfu Full-day tour?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Corfu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Corfu and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Corfu Full-day tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Corfu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Corfu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Corfu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Food and Cultural Tour in Corfu, The Governor's Olive Mill Tour with Olive Oil Tasting, Electric Fat Bike Self Guided Tour Discover North Corfu. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Corfu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Corfu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
