Here you will also see where the famous Via del Amore footpath begins, which leads to nearby Manarola.

Manarola is located at the northern end of the Via del Amore and is part of the municipality of Riomaggiore. Known for its wine production, Manarola produces the only dessert wine called Sciacchetrà which is found only in this area. We will pass by slowly to be able to see the village and take photos. Corniglia
Perched 100 meters high on a cliff, Corniglia is the only one of the towns without a port and has a panoramic terrace from which you can see Manarola and Riomaggiore to the south and Vernazza and Monterosso to the north. The northernmost village of the Cinque Terre is Monterosso, which is divided into two sides: the historic center and the "new" side called Fegina, with a pedestrian tunnel connecting the two.
