    We had a great time

We had a wonderful time with Daniela. She was very friendly and knew what she was doing. We got to make gnocchi and tiramisu. She also let us try several other pastas and wines in liquors. I would definitely recommend the experience.

    We had a wonderful time...

We had a wonderful time taking the pasta and tiramisu cooking class with Roberto and Monica! They were both warm, welcoming, and made the entire experience so much fun. We learned how to make delicious homemade pasta and tiramisu while enjoying their hospitality and passion for Italian cooking. It was a truly memorable experience and a highlight of our trip! We highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience. Grazie, Roberto and Monica, for such a fantastic time!

Grazi Mille Donata y Claudio (and Snow and Minnie)

Donata was amazing! An absolute expert but also patient enough to teach, especially me. We made two fantastic pasta dishes (spinach and ricotta stuffed ravioli in a butter and sage from her garden sauce plus a tagliatelle in a homemade (and home grown) tomato sauce) and from scratch tiramisu! Olives from the garden dinner overlooking the sea on the terrace! Not sure you can have a better excursion. If you want authentic, real, and something to remember while in La Spezia my wife and I would highly recommend this!

    First understand this is...

First understand this is a very difficult place to find. It seemed to be an easy walk from the ship but I walked for an hour and a half across three and a half miles and never found it. Sent a message to the owner and got no response. Asked two locals where I needed to go and each took me in different directions. I called Viator totally frustrated and they said I couldn’t get a refund because the tour owner could have guided me there. When there was a message it was in Italian and I had to get it translated. There was no phone number to call- only text outside of Viator. Have two more tours with Viator and they had better be easy. After that I will not use Viator again.

Response from the operator: Dear Cindy, We are very sorry to hear that you had such a difficult time finding the location. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially as you were really looking forward to the class. Unfortunately, the location and meeting point were correct and the class was held as scheduled. Since the difficulty was related to finding the location and getting there, rather than to a cancellation or an issue with the class itself, we are unfortunately unable to offer a refund. We are truly sorry that you were not able to join us, and we appreciate you taking the time to explain what happened. We hope you might have the opportunity to visit us again in the future, and we would be very happy to welcome you then. Thank you for your understanding

How much does La Spezia: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine cost?

    +

Prices start at $108 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in La Spezia usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does La Spezia: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in La Spezia is not rushed.

Is La Spezia: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 85 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 90 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in La Spezia, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule La Spezia: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is La Spezia: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book La Spezia: Pasta & Tiramisu Class in a Local Home by Cesarine?

    +

Around 31 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in La Spezia can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in La Spezia and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in La Spezia?

    +

On Outty we rank every La Spezia experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include La Spezia: Taste Cinque Terre on a Food Tour by Do Eat Better, Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour Experience with Aperitivo and Swim, Cinque Terre Sunset Boat Tour : golden hour on the water. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit La Spezia?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in La Spezia?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
