Rode along with Dario and visited important parts of the city along with a visit to Evita Peron’s gravesite. Very intere

Dario took us on a private city tour and while showing us around he provided a rich background of history and politics of the area. We went on a day when there were large protests going on, so were unable to see some points of interest, but he showed us some other sights instead. It was a treat for him to share some mate and gave us the background about the significance of mate in the Argentina culture. Thank you Dario!

    Inspiring tour of Buenos Aires

If this is your first time in limited Buenos Aires, this is the trip for you! My tour guide was Dario. The tour was in English. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the country’s history. He really covered a lot of ground at each spot. I especially loved the tour of the cemetery and the garden. He shared the painful and inspiring history in respectful, honest and direct ways. My only criticism was that this tour should be longer! Dario knows so much about the city. He also offered me excellent suggestions on local and affordable restaurants. He also suggested other neighborhoods and sites to visit. I loved that the tour was not large.

Best Buenos Aires City Tour !!!

We had an incredible experience exploring Buenos Aires with our tour guide, Dario. From start to finish, the tour was thoughtfully planned and covered all the city’s must-see landmarks, giving us a great mix of history, culture, and local flavor. One of the highlights was our visit to the San Telmo Market, which was absolutely unforgettable. Our guide not only walked us through the vibrant stalls and explained the history of the area, but also made sure we experienced it like locals. The choripán we had there was hands down one of the best things we ate on the trip—simple, authentic, and delicious. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and engaging our guide, Dario, was. He shared fascinating stories, answered all our questions, and kept the pace comfortable without ever feeling rushed. It felt less like a formal tour and more like exploring the city with a passionate local friend. If you’re visiting Buenos Aires and want a well-rounded, memorable introduction to the city, I can’t recommend this tour highly enough, and most importantly, make sure to request Dario to be your tour guide.

    Great visit to Buenos Aires

I had a great experience with Dario. I love that he has extensive knowledge of the city's history and places. My favorite was visiting Evita graveyard. He provides very clear and enriching descriptions of each place visited, such as the Recoleta Cemetery and Plaza de Mayo. I had limited time, so it was very helpful that he had a car, which allowed us to optimize the visits. He also gave very useful recommendations for restaurants and places to enjoy, such as bars I 100% recommend this experience.

Easy going knowledgeable tour guide of Buenos Aires

I really enjoyed this tour. It was our second time in Argentina and i can't believe how much we missed the first time. I personally really appreciated Dario's ability to navigate between my quieter nature and my wife's outgoing personality. He provided a great mix of knowledge and conversational ability (his English was perfect) allowing us to take in the beautiful architecture and unique history of this South American capital that is Buenos Aires. We started the tour both sitting in the back of the car and by the end my wife and I were tossing a coin to see who would sit up front. I highly recommend this tour and guide. Really can't go wrong and as a bonus the Steakhouse Dario recommended was truly the best!

Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks cost?

    +

Prices start at $200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks take?

    +

Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks?

    +

Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

    +

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks?

    +

Included: Private transportation. Not included: Entrance fee, Recoleta Cemetery. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.

Does Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks include hotel pickup?

    +

Yes, pickup is offered, or you can meet at the start point instead from 556 listed pickup locations in and around Buenos Aires. Be ready about 1 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.

What languages is Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks offered in?

    +

It is offered in English and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.

Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks?

    +

    +

The operator notes: Specialized infant seats are available. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.

What happens to Private Buenos Aires City Tour Major Attractions and Landmarks if the weather is bad?
