    Beautiful Buenos Aires

Trini was fabulous! It was truly like visiting with a friend and enjoying the city. She is vey easy going and knowledgeable. She adjusted the time of my tour due to my flight times with no problem and met me at my hotel. A combination of walking and driving. A driver picked us up curbside when we had to go between neighborhoods. The driver was very kind and his car impeccably clean. I felt like I learned so much about the city past and present. I did this the first day of my trip to get an idea of where to go and what to see, and it was so much more than that! I highly recommend this tour! I was also given great recommendations of other things to do. Thank you!

Response from the operator: Thank you Michelle! We spent a lovely day together! I hope you come back soon!

    Great private tour!

We had a wonderful tour with our guide Patricia! We saw a lot of Buenos Aires that we wouldn't have seen on our own, and learned a lot about the city. We had to deviate from the normal plan because of a sudden downpour. But we managed to outrun the rain at every turn. She took us to one of her favorite places for a fabulous lunch. She really knew her stuff and answered all of our questions with ease. I would highly recommend this tour and Patricia!

Response from the operator: Thank you for visiting us and for your valuable feedback! I’m glad the weather couldn’t stop you! We hope to have you back soon! Thank you for choosing us! Trinidad

    Day Tour of Buenas Aries

Our tour was a full day tour. It can be hot & humid so coming from a cold climate can be an adjustment. Definitely bring sun glasses and water. This was an over view of the city. Pretty comprehensive from landmarks, to historical facts, to popular neighborhoods and more. There were areas I would have liked to explore more and other areas I found a bit dry, but that is the purpose of this kind of tour. I think it works to get a good picture of the city if you are passing through and to learn where you would like to spend more time if you are staying. We had an excellent tour guide, Abril. She was knowledgeable and personable. A tour guide can make or break your visit and she was great. Always consciously thinking of her guests stamina and interests. I would heartily recommend her.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your visit and your valuable feedback! We hope to have you back soon!

    Bravo Massimo!

We can’t give enough stars to express how fantastic our tour of Buenos Aires was. This was all due to the knowledge & expertise of our guide, Massimo Macchiavello. We almost didn’t have a tour as we had inadvertently booked it for the wrong date. Massimo worked that all out & we’re so glad he did. We only had limited time and were leaving Buenos Aires that afternoon so Massimo met us at our hotel that morning with his driver. What a day. Massimo is a living historical & cultural encyclopedia. We have traveled a lot since retirement and had never had a guide as good as Massimo. When asked “how do you know all this?”’, he smiled & said, “I’m a nerd. Instead of watching TV as a kid I watched documentaries”. Though we knew our tour with Massimo was special, that impression was cemented when we spoke to our traveling friends who were on a similar tour. We felt a bit guilty about how good our tour was compared to theirs. If you are going to have some time in Buenos Aires & are looking for a tour, make sure you ask for Massimo. For him, guiding isn’t just a job but clearly a passion. And make sure he takes you to his favorite grilled chorizo restaurant in San Telmo market.

Response from the operator: Hi Bruce! Thank you for your kind words. We're happy that you had such a good time in Buenos Aires! Thank you for letting us be a part of your awesome trip! We hope to have you back soon!

Private Buenos Aires City Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Buenos Aires.

How much does Private Buenos Aires City Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup cost?

    +

Prices start at $195 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Buenos Aires usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Buenos Aires City Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Buenos Aires is not rushed.

Is Private Buenos Aires City Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Buenos Aires, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Buenos Aires City Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Buenos Aires City Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Buenos Aires City Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Buenos Aires can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Buenos Aires and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Buenos Aires City Tour with Local Guide & Hotel Pickup start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Buenos Aires within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Buenos Aires?

    +

On Outty we rank every Buenos Aires experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Argentine Cooking, Wine & Beef Tasting at Argentine Experience, Historical Sherpa Food Tour of San Telmo with Street Food, Drinks, Cooking Class with Empanadas Steak & Flan by Argentine Experience. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Buenos Aires?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Buenos Aires?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
