A whole new perspective
This was the highlight of our stay in Massa Lubrense and the Amalfi coast. Our kids loved the boat trip and had a blast! We got a chance to see the Costiera from a whole different perspective. Breathtaking. Our crew, Mario and Mary, have been delightful and so accommodating. Would love to do it again soon

Didn't see all the coast...
Didn't see all the coast we thought we would. Spent to much time at Positano. Other stop was good but spent to much time in shore.
Response from the operator: Dear Terry_J Thank you for your review. I had the opportunity to check with the skipper regarding how the day unfolded, as you had booked a private boat for a total duration of 7/8 hours. At the time of boarding, the skipper explained the tour plan. During the day, the guests requested to stop for lunch at Maria Grazia in Nerano and then make a stop in Positano. The skipper also clarified that, given the time required for a proper lunch stop, we would not be able to reach Amalfi in time for a land visit. However, Amalfi was still seen from the sea after the stop in Positano, as discussed during the tour. We always do our best to balance the itinerary according to guest preferences and available time. Since the skipper had been very clear about the itinerary and timing, we honestly do not understand the reason for your negative review. A bit more sincerity or a better understanding of the skipper’s suggestions would help ensure a more realistic expectation and experience. Rosa Savarese Reservations Dept & Customer Care

Great experience!
Amazing experience! They picked it up and brought it to the hotel, arriving in Porto there was a bar for anyone who wanted to eat or drink while waiting for the boat. Spacious and clean boat with friendly crew (Joseph and the captain) and the tour with 12 passengers. Cold drink served throughout the trip (coke beer and water) and snacks/peanuts. We stopped for two baths (one for an hour which was already on the schedule and the second bath for about 15 minutes courtesy of the captain).

Amalfi coast by boat
To be clear, you spend the day along Amalfi coast by boat. You won’t stop and visit at any town until you have lunch. Our skipper Carmena arranged a lunch reservation in Nerano which was nice. He also had a bottle of Prosecco for us. He stopped at certain points of the Amalfi coast to tell us what we were looking at. We enjoyed the privacy and how relaxing the day was.
Response from the operator: Hi Jhenaly, thank you for sharing with us your experience about the Amalfi Coast Private Boat Tour from Sorrento - Apreamare 75. We are really happy to know that you enjoyed the tour especially the privacy and relax. We look forward to seeing you soon to spend another relaxing day on board with us! Best regards, Amelia

Private Boat Tour Sorrento to Positano & Amalfi–Typical Gozzo 750: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Private Boat Tour Sorrento to Positano & Amalfi–Typical Gozzo 750 cost?
+
Prices start at $1600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Boat Tour Sorrento to Positano & Amalfi–Typical Gozzo 750 take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Private Boat Tour Sorrento to Positano & Amalfi–Typical Gozzo 750 worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat Tour Sorrento to Positano & Amalfi–Typical Gozzo 750?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Boat Tour Sorrento to Positano & Amalfi–Typical Gozzo 750 suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour Sorrento to Positano & Amalfi–Typical Gozzo 750?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Boat Tour Sorrento to Positano & Amalfi–Typical Gozzo 750 start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
