Unforgettable
What a fantastic day seeing the Almafi coast! Pietro was wonderful and took good care of us. He was flexible with our stops, helped us with lunch, and let us swim whenever we wanted. Truly an unforgettable day!

60th birthday trip to Capri.
We booked this trip via our hotel in Sorrento . The service was a great start with an assisted walk to the marina for the prompt arrival of the boat. We were greeted by the captain and started our journey over to Capri. We had a very nice spacious boat for 6 guests . The food served to us were, small tapas plate alongside sparking wine beers and soft drinks which were plentiful all day. The excursion took us to the lovely island of Capri which we enjoyed seeing from the sea and surrounding areas. We disembarked via a lovely restaurant allowing us easily access to take a cab and see the land sights . We had 3-4 hours on shore and then made our way back to the coast of Sorrento . The waters were choppy on the return , but the staff always kept our safety as paramount.

Crapolla Charter is absolutely amazing 10/10 RECOMMEND
Booked through Capri.com and this was absolutely the highlight of our time in Sorrento! I spoke with Alice leading up to the trip and she was an absolutle pleasure and true gem of a person. She was so beyond kind and helpful not just with our boat day, but helping to provide recommendations and even put me in contact with someone to get private transfer to Positano for a cooking class we had (and he had the best price from others I asked). For our boat day, we booked 8 hours with Acquamarina Coupé 38 "San Salvador" departing from Sorrento. The boat was pristine and spacious. Bathroom was spotless and towels were provided for us along with two bottles of champagne, olives, cheese, tomatoes, mini biscuits and fresh strawberries. There were a total of 6 of us and our skipper was Pietro and he was right on time (and stuck waiting for us when we were slightly delayed). He was very knowledgeable and made sure we saw and took pictures of all the sites around Capri. He even took pictures for us without us asking which was very kind so we had some group photos. We were able to hook up our own Spotify jam to the speakers and we got really lucky with the weather (as it was April 10th). It was sunny and warm though at times cool with a breeze on the boat. We all jumped in the water once to say we did it - but alas it was freezing! We stopped at the blue grotto and those guys are pushy about getting a tip (felt pressure to give 40 euro to two guys after paying over 18 euro per person I don't remember exactly to get inside, next time I would stand my ground and give maybe 5 only) - this of course was not Crapolla or Pietro's fault though. Just something to keep in mind! We told Pietro we'd like to have lunch somewhere on the water, and he brought us to Lo Smeraldo - there are mixed reviews online we learned while there. We did not think this restaurant was worth the cost of the food; drinks we ordered were not the best and food could have been better. The views are beautiful, though. Overall - Crapolla Charter experience 10/10 - We are thankful for Alice and Pietro. Grazie mille!!!

Amazing boat tour of Capri
One of the highlights of our trip to Sorrento was our private boat tour of Capri. We hired CrapollaCharter APREA Pietro for our day trip with our family of 7. This was an experience of a lifetime. Our guide Pietro and boat hand Lorenzo were amazing hosts for us. Pietro was very knowledgeable, patient and very happy to show us his homeland. His love for the water and Capri were evident. The boat was clean, stocked with drinks and snacks, and comfortable for all of us. The trip was affordable and more than worth every Euro. I would highly recommend Crapolla Charter di APREA Pietro for any of their tours.

Amazing Experience with Crapolla at Capri
Our experience with Crapolla Charter was simply amazing! We had the best time - 8 of us in a private yacht visiting the Capri Island! The views were breathtaking, the food was amazing and the drinks with friends made it a perfect daytrip. Our contact Peter, skipper Vito and Captain were all very friendly and guided us throughout the tour. Would definitely recommend Crapolla for your visit to Capri, Positano and Amalfi!

Private Boat Tour to Capri from Sorrento: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Private Boat Tour to Capri from Sorrento cost?
+
Prices start at $1389 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Boat Tour to Capri from Sorrento take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Private Boat Tour to Capri from Sorrento worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat Tour to Capri from Sorrento?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Boat Tour to Capri from Sorrento suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour to Capri from Sorrento?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Boat Tour to Capri from Sorrento start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
