Faraglioni
The faraglioni of Capri are three rocky peaks located southeast of the island of the same name, famous all over the world thanks to the suggestive and historic panoramic view offered by the gardens of Augustus. These protrusions are identified with three distinct names: the first is the Faraglione di Terra; the second, separated from the first by the sea, is that of Mezzo; while the third, jutting out towards the sea, is the Faraglione di Fuori. The latter is well known as it is the only habitat of the famous blue lizard.

Bad experience
We rented a boat to Mario for two days. Then we ordered a skipper and Mario arranged for 100€/day. On the first day the skipper was a lady who spoke only Italian and knew nothing about the places to visit. He spent the whole day asking people on other boats where he should go. In the end we still wanted to visit Positano and she said she had no more time! On the second day our skipper was a man (Luca). He arrived 30 minutes late and smelled like alcohol. I checked the fuel level and it was only 3/4 when it should be full. When we arrived at Capri took us to the Marina Piccola and said it was the best area to take a bath. However, he called a boat from a restaurant to come pick us up and when we got to the land they told us that we had to have lunch there, otherwise we could not enter the island on this side! I said yes, but I only wanted lunch at 1:00 and they said it had to be at that time, it was 12:00. We decided to go back to the boat and head to the Grand Marina. At the end of the day the skipper Lucca filled the tank of Gasoline and I had to ask him the money of the difference because at first the tank was not full. Don't sign boat with Mario if you don't want to be fooled! A shame!

Pricey but great experience!
The good thing about a private tour is that you can do things at your own pace. We can choose our own start time and which places we wish to stay longer. Moreover our skipper Francesco was really great. He took us to all the best sites and the hidden gems. Fuel was around 150 euros on top and if you wish to disembark e.g. at Capri you have to pay 100 euros disembarkaction fee - I supposed cause they have to pay to dock at the private marinas.
Response from the operator: Grazie davvero siete stati molto gentili e disponibili ...Sperando di rivederci presto magari organizzando un altro tour nel nostro fantastico Golfo.

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Pompeii?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Pompeii?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
