Highly recommend!
We liked it a lot, interesting stories about Villas, beautiful views. The Capitan was very friendly and even adjusted the place of meeting at the very last moment to make it easier for us!
Response from the operator: Thank you very much, we are happy that you enjoyed the experience. We hope to see you soon . Thanks again B&S Boat Service Team

Book direct instead of viator if you can
The boat trip itself was wonderful, and our captain was fantastic—very friendly, professional, and made the experience enjoyable. However, I was very disappointed with booking through Viator. We ended up paying almost €900 for a 2-hour boat trip because we were charged extra for our pickup/drop-off location, even though this wasn’t clearly disclosed during the booking process. Afterward, I contacted the other boat company directly and was offered a 3-hour private tour for the same €900, with pickup and drop-off at the location of my choice included. Unfortunately, I couldn’t cancel my Viator reservation because it was less than 24 hours before the trip. This isn’t the first time I’ve found significantly better pricing by booking directly with the provider instead of through Viator. My advice is to always contact the company directly before booking—you may get a better price, more flexibility, and avoid unexpected fees. Again, no complaints about the captain or the boat experience itself. My issue is with the booking platform and the lack of pricing transparency.

Wonderful 3 hour tour of Lake Como
Perfect private 3 hour boat tour with Simone! Simone was courtesy, thoughtful, and attentive. He contacted us before our trip to confirm our travel plans and arrived on time. The boat was beautiful, covered and with a heater and blankets. We came during low season and felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. He spent time explaining the history and notable facts about the Lake and its villages. We visited Bellagio and Varenna and what beautiful and picturesque towns! The ride was very smooth on the lake and Simone got us back to our hotel as scheduled. We wish we had more time to see the rest of the lake. The cost of the tour was fair and competitive. Highly recommend the tour with Simone!

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Boat Tour on Lake Como: Prosecco and Villas: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Como.
How much does Private Boat Tour on Lake Como: Prosecco and Villas cost?
+
Prices start at $600 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Como usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Boat Tour on Lake Como: Prosecco and Villas take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Como is not rushed.
Is Private Boat Tour on Lake Como: Prosecco and Villas worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 58 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lake Como, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat Tour on Lake Como: Prosecco and Villas?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Boat Tour on Lake Como: Prosecco and Villas suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour on Lake Como: Prosecco and Villas?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Como can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Como and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Boat Tour on Lake Como: Prosecco and Villas start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Como within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lake Como?
+
On Outty we rank every Lake Como experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Lake Como & Lugano: 2 Countries in 1 Day, Boat Cruise, Como, Bellagio & Varenna: Small Group from Milan with Boat Cruise, Small-Group Lake Como: Bellagio, Varenna, Hidden Gorge & Boat. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lake Como?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lake Como?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
