From the sea you can admire the sheer cliffs and the city of Sorrento climbing upwards, creating a truly spectacular panorama.
Pass by without stopping
Bagni Regina Giovanna
Sailing along the coast we will reach the picturesque Baths of Queen Joan, a unique natural and archaeological site. Here a natural pool of crystal clear water is enclosed by a cliff and connected to the open sea by a rock arch. It is the perfect place for a photo stop.
Pass by without stopping
Marina di Puolo
Continuing along the coast, we will pass Marina di Puolo, a small fishing village still genuine, with pebble beaches, seaside restaurants and a simple and relaxed atmosphere. Viewed from the sea, this bay offers picturesque views and a beautiful panorama of the Gulf of Naples.
Pass by without stopping
Massa Lubrense
Sailing continues towards Massa Lubrense, the last stretch of the Sorrento Peninsula, famous for its clear waters and quiet bays. From the boat you can admire green headlands, small coves and the Listing of Vesuvius in the distance. This stretch of coast is ideal for enjoying the scenery.
Pass by without stopping
Blue Grotto
Once in Capri, you can admire the famous Blue Grotto, one of the most famous attractions in the world, from the outside. If you wish and the sea conditions allow, you can choose (optionally, with an extra charge on site) to enter the cave aboard small rowing boats operated by local boatmen. Inside you will be surprised by the intense blue light that illuminates the water, creating a magical atmosphere.
Pass by without stopping
Punta Carena Lighthouse
Along the island we will reach Punta Carena, dominated by one of the most beautiful and scenic lighthouses in the Mediterranean. Here the cliffs are wilder and sheer to the sea, and the colors off the coast become particularly intense. It is one of the most authentic areas of Capri, perfect for enjoying the open sea and taking panoramic photos.
Pass by without stopping
Spiaggia di Marina Piccola
On the opposite side of the island is Marina Piccola, one of the most famous bays of Capri. Protected by cliffs and with a privileged view of the Faraglioni, it is a true natural amphitheater. From the sea you can admire its small beaches, villas overlooking the top and boats anchored in the bay. It is a great spot for a bathroom stop, surrounded by postcard scenery.
Pass by without stopping
Faraglioni
An undisputed symbol of Capri, the Faraglioni are three majestic rock stacks that emerge from the sea. With the boat tour you can get closer and, if conditions allow, cross the natural arch of the famous Faraglione di mezzo with the bow. It is one of the most impressive moments of the tour, perfect for romantic photos and unforgettable memories.
Pass by without stopping
White Grotta
Continuing along the perimeter of the island we will meet the White Cave, a natural cavity characterized by the light color of its rocks and the stalactites that descend from above. The water here takes on particular nuances thanks to the contrast with the white walls. It is a quieter cave than the Blue one, but just as scenic as seen from the sea.
Pass by without stopping
Marina Grande Beach
Our itinerary around the island ends at Marina Grande on Capri, the main port of the island. From the sea you can see the bustling comings and goings of boats, the colorful houses on the seafront and the funicular that goes up to the famous Piazzetta. Depending on the tour you choose, you can decide whether to disembark to visit the island by land on your own or continue the coastal navigation.

Private boat tour of the Amalfi coast
Damiano and Marco were our boat guides and made the day extra special. Pasquale was really helpful in coordinating our event. It was a highlight of our trip. From the moment they picked us up in Nerano, they shared interesting information about the area, customized our stops to suit our needs, recommended a lunch stop that had fabulous food and a show stopping view. We swam in the Mediterranean and had complimentary champagne. It was a bucket list item. No better way to see the coast!!!
Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your amazing review! We’re so happy you had such a special day, enjoyed the stops, the delicious lunch, and the swim with champagne. It sounds like a perfect way to see the coast! Hope to see you again soon for more fun adventures! 😊

Incredible Trip to Capri
Had an absolutely incredible day trip around and to Capri with Damiano and Marco. The pickup was seamless, the service was perfect, and the sail was stunning. We visited some of Capri’s grottos, got lunch at a beautiful restaurant, and had plenty of time to navigate the city before continuing the lovely sail back to Positano. Couldn’t have been happier with the experience and would highly recommend.
Response from the operator: Thank you Matt for your beautiful review, we really appreciate that and we hope to see you again!!!

A Fantastic Experience!
Our experience of Capri was wonderous! We left early in the morning and were immediately captured by the blue of the local waters. Our first destination was a short stop at the Blue Gratto which was magical. Next, we circumvented the island, stopping at one point to swim in the warm waters. This was possibly my family’s favorite part of the trip! Captain Damiano and his brother were informative about the island’s history and gave us time to relax and just be us! Later, we spent time on the island itself and enjoyed the food, shopping, and meandering about the picturesque town. Coming back to the boat, we once again took some time to swim, and then headed back to Sorrento. It was a fantastic trip and Captain Damiano and his brother were a big part of that! I suggest you consider them if you are looking for a private boat tour of Capri!
Response from the operator: Thank you Steve for your review we really appreciate that!!!

Private Boat Tour of the Wonders of Capri: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Private Boat Tour of the Wonders of Capri cost?
+
Prices start at $1,087 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Boat Tour of the Wonders of Capri take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Private Boat Tour of the Wonders of Capri worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat Tour of the Wonders of Capri?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Boat Tour of the Wonders of Capri suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Boat Tour of the Wonders of Capri?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
