    Great experience, do it!

I really enjoyed this tour. Starting with the first call, which was last minute that morning, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the several stops we made to explore, and the boat ride was fantastic. The boat was the cherry on top, it was exciting to see St Augustine from that perspective and the commentary was great. I would absolutely do this again and recommend others do as well.

Response from the operator: We may be a little biased but there is no better way to experience all the history and taking in the sites from land and sea. Thank you

    St. Augustine Must Do!!!

Luis and Kevin did an incredible job in telling us the history and seeing the sites in St. Augustine. The golf cart allows you to discover all of the main historic areas of the city. Now we know what areas to visit on our own. Would suggest you tour early on in your visit.

Response from the operator: Hi guys, it was a pleasure to show you this amazing city. Hopefully next time you’ll get to meet the rest of the family! Best

    St. Augustine's Highlights

Was an Amazing Experience. The Boat Tour was Very Good, But the Golf Cart Tour was the Best Part. Louis was Very Informative and Stopped Several Places so Wife Could Take Pictures. Would Definitely Recommend this Tour to Anyone Visiting St. Augustine for 1st Time Or Just Interested in and/or Architecture.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Rgds, Luis

    Relaxed, wonderful overview

Very knowledgeable guide. Heard an excellent overview of the city's history standing in Constitutional Square, then walked to nearby marina to board boat. Enjoyable, sedate boat ride. Guide met us on dock with golf cart to ride to outside of fort, Magnolia Street, Flagler College, old city gate, La Leche monument, and Fountain of Youth. Walked into former pool area at Lichtner Museum - which was only stop off of golf cart. This overview gave us an idea of what places to target later.

Response from the operator: Hi, this is probably the best description of our tour!

Private Boat and Golf Cart Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for St Augustine.

How much does Private Boat and Golf Cart Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in St Augustine usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private Boat and Golf Cart Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in St Augustine is not rushed.

Is Private Boat and Golf Cart Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in St Augustine, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private Boat and Golf Cart Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private Boat and Golf Cart Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private Boat and Golf Cart Tour?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in St Augustine can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in St Augustine and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private Boat and Golf Cart Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central St Augustine within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in St Augustine?

    +

St Augustine is walkable history: Castillo de San Marcos, Spanish quarter walking tours, trolley loops, lighthouse climbs and some of the best-attended ghost tours in the country. Guide storytelling quality is the main variable. On Outty we rank every St Augustine experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Medieval Torture Museum with Ghost Hunting and Tiny Art Gallery, St. Augustine's Wine, Cocktail and Food Experience, Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure of St. Augustine. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit St Augustine?

    +

February to May and September to November. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in St Augustine?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
