A wonderful experience enhanced by Terry's passion.
What a great day, thanks Terry! The scenery is simply stunning & Terry's passion & knowledge of the area greatly enhances the day. The late start tour means a bit more sleep time (!) & misses the rush hour traffic, but that is not the main benefit. As a photographer Terry has designed the tour to try & maximise the light conditions at the various viewing points, stopping to see wild kangaroos at dusk, when they are most active, and arriving at the final viewing point just before sunset. The time we spent with Terry was incredibly well researched & organised. He ensured that we got the most out of the day, and were able to take home some wonderful photos and great memories. A long day packed full of great experiences, very highly recommended
Response from the operator: Yes, I love my bushwalks as much as photography but all we want on our tour is to showcase the very best places at the very best times....including spotting kangaroos in the late afternoon sun. So glad you enjoyed everything we did, some great walks, lookouts, great food, photos and great memories. Many thanks

Excellent blue mountains private tour
Daniele was our guide for the day and was very friendly and informative. We loved the fact that our trip could be adjusted to suit our specific requests, although we didn't need to deviate from the recommendations. Loved the walk down to Wentworth Falls, well worth it for the views, and Daniele was very patient and accommodating of my need to take things a little slower on the return up the path. A few other stops to view the fabulous scenery at lookout points. Lovely visit to meet Jonas the Koala, and we were also lucky to see a few wild kangaroos later in the day. A brilliant trip and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and Daniele.
Response from the operator: Hi Lesley, we do what we can to support the enjoyment of our guests on tour. We want to cover as many wonderful experiences and opportunities on the day and thank you for your review

Amazing tour
Such an amazing tour in the Blue Mountains! It’s active with a bit of hiking, stunning views, and plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife. Our guide, Terry, was absolutely wonderful — super friendly, incredibly helpful, and always made sure we had time for breaks and snacks. He’s also a talented photographer and helped us take some incredible pictures. A huge thank you to Terry for making the experience unforgettable!
Response from the operator: Lifes too short not to have some great photo moments. We chased the best walks and lookouts with the afternoon sunlight to really showcase this beautiful region, thanks again and great to be your guide

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
PRIVATE Blue Mountains Wilderness & Wildlife Late Start Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does PRIVATE Blue Mountains Wilderness & Wildlife Late Start Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $788 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does PRIVATE Blue Mountains Wilderness & Wildlife Late Start Tour take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is PRIVATE Blue Mountains Wilderness & Wildlife Late Start Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 54 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule PRIVATE Blue Mountains Wilderness & Wildlife Late Start Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is PRIVATE Blue Mountains Wilderness & Wildlife Late Start Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book PRIVATE Blue Mountains Wilderness & Wildlife Late Start Tour?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does PRIVATE Blue Mountains Wilderness & Wildlife Late Start Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
