Australia Blue Mountains Tour
This excursion was fantastic! We were a group of six adults. Our tour guide, Joseph, arrived early in a very comfortable private vehicle. We were able to communicate before the tour by WhatsApp, which gave us peace of mind about our tour that we had booked months in advance. Joseph, or tour guide, was very knowledgeable & entertaining throughout the whole trip. He was patient, a good driver, flexible & always had our best interest in mind. We explored the Blue Mountains & were able to get fantastic pictures & create wonderful memories! If we go back to Australia, we will definitely request Joseph. This is the second or third time I have used Viator while cruising & I am very pleased with them. Excellent tour!
Response from the operator: Hi Deanna, thank you so much for taking the time to share this — it really means a lot. 😊 I’m so happy to hear everything went smoothly from the start, especially being able to connect on WhatsApp ahead of time (I know that peace of mind is huge when you’ve booked months in advance). And love hearing that Joseph arrived early, kept you comfortable, and made the whole day fun, flexible, and stress-free. He’ll be so happy to know you enjoyed the stories, the views, and that you were able to get amazing photos and memories with your group. If you’re back in Australia again, we’d love to have you — and we’ll absolutely do our best to get Joseph for you! Issa Ausguides.

Blue Mountains Experience
Our tour guide made our experience from the time he picked us up at our hotel. Very knowledgeable about the history of the Blue Mountains and the national park. Timing throughout our experience was perfect. We weren’t pressured to “move along”, rather we were able to stop, look, ask questions and enjoy! Thank you for a great day.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for joining our PRIVATE Blue Mountains Scenic World, Wentworth Falls & Cruise Tour. I’m very happy to hear that your guide made the day special right from hotel pick-up, and that you enjoyed learning about the history of the Blue Mountains and the national park. I’m also glad the timing felt just right and that you never felt rushed, with plenty of time to stop, look around, ask questions and truly enjoy the views. Thank you again for spending your day with us and for your lovely feedback. We really appreciate it. Issa

Best day ever!
Booked this tour on advice from a fellow Celebrity Edge passenger. They weren't wrong. Joseph was an amazing tour guide. Clean, comfortable mini van. Great narration and conversation. Loved the stop at the wildlife park, got great pictures and we definitely made the most of our time with his guidance. His lunch recommendation was spot on. The stops at the lookouts were perfect. He skillfully navigated us through the Scenic park, avoiding unnecessary lines and making the most of our time on the cable car, mountain train and sky way. He even found us a lovely store to purchase an opal we were looking for. Highly recommend Joseph and this tour company.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this amazing review and for choosing to spend your day in the Blue Mountains with us. I’m very happy to hear that the recommendation from your fellow Celebrity Edge passenger worked out so well and that you had the “best day ever” with Joseph. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed the comfort of the minivan, his narration and conversation, and that the timings for the lookouts and Scenic World worked perfectly for you. I’m also glad you loved the stop at the wildlife park, made the most of your time on the cable car, mountain train and skyway, and even managed to find the opal you were looking for with Joseph’s help. Thank you very much for highly recommending Joseph and our tour company – we truly appreciate your kind words and support. We hope to welcome you back to Australia in the future. Issa

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
PRIVATE Blue Mountains Scenic World Wentworth Falls & Cruise Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.
How much does PRIVATE Blue Mountains Scenic World Wentworth Falls & Cruise Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does PRIVATE Blue Mountains Scenic World Wentworth Falls & Cruise Tour take?
+
Plan for about 9 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.
Is PRIVATE Blue Mountains Scenic World Wentworth Falls & Cruise Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 58 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule PRIVATE Blue Mountains Scenic World Wentworth Falls & Cruise Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is PRIVATE Blue Mountains Scenic World Wentworth Falls & Cruise Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 9-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book PRIVATE Blue Mountains Scenic World Wentworth Falls & Cruise Tour?
+
Around 20 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 9-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does PRIVATE Blue Mountains Scenic World Wentworth Falls & Cruise Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sydney?
+
On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sydney?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sydney?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
