Two great tours with Laurant
My husband and I booked two tours with Laurent. Both days were wonderful. We visited Arles, Aix en Provence and other sites. We highly recommend Oooh Provence. If we return to the the area we will book another tour.
Response from the operator: Thank you both for joining us on these two days exploring Provence together. It was an absolute pleasure and lovely spending time together. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, that means a lot to us and we know other travellers appreciate reading the reviews. Thank you again and hope you'll find time in the future to visit us again. Best wishes to you for the end of the year! Cordialement Laurent.

History and nature near Arles
We had a really lovely day touring Arles, the bird sanctuary in the Camarague, and Ste Maries du Mer with Laurent. He was very knowledgeable and accommodated our every need. Highly recommended.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much, it was a pleasure and lovely to meet you both. Enjoy the rest of your visit and hope to welcome you back in Provence sometime in the future. Cordialement Laurent at OohProvence.

Fabulous Tour of Arles and the Camargue
This was a fabulous tour - from exploring the history and architecture of Arles to enjoying the nature and beauty of the Camargue. It was an area I have long wanted to visit and Christopher was an incredible guide. We saw so many different intriguing areas but the day still felt very relaxed - it was like a day trip with a long time friend rather than a formal tour. I can't recommend oohprovence and Christopher Curtis enough, and definitely look forward to more tours with them when I am next in Provence.
Response from the operator: Thank you for reviewing the tour - I had a great time too! The nicest thing doing what we do is that we get to share a little bit of your vacation. The Camargue is a really interesting part of Provence - very different to the cliché, Provence and combined with the ancient Roman town of Arles, we hope to show a new angle to what people know and understand - we are lucky to live in such an interesting and diverse region. Look forward to catching up with you next time you come visit and hope all is well in L.A! Best wishes Christopher OohProvence

Private Arles Camargue Experience Van Gogh Wild Horses Flamingoes: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marseille.
How much does Private Arles Camargue Experience Van Gogh Wild Horses Flamingoes cost?
+
Prices start at $175 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marseille usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Arles Camargue Experience Van Gogh Wild Horses Flamingoes take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marseille is not rushed.
Is Private Arles Camargue Experience Van Gogh Wild Horses Flamingoes worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marseille, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Arles Camargue Experience Van Gogh Wild Horses Flamingoes?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Arles Camargue Experience Van Gogh Wild Horses Flamingoes suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 5. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 7-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Private Arles Camargue Experience Van Gogh Wild Horses Flamingoes?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marseille can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marseille and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Arles Camargue Experience Van Gogh Wild Horses Flamingoes start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marseille within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marseille?
+
On Outty we rank every Marseille experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marseille Food Tour – Full Meal of Local Tastes by Do Eat Better, Beyond Bouillabaisse: Diving into Marseille’s Multicultural Stew, Marseille Guided Tour for 4 Hours with a Bilingual Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marseille?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marseille?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
