Best Day in Italy
Five Star perfect experience! Marco was the absolute best! He was friendly and knowledgeable, and was able to handle all of the driving and traffic issues of the Amalfi coast. His wonderful personality kept us entertained, and I felt as if we made a new friend. I would never have had the same experience with anyone else. We were able to have an amazing lunch overlooking the coastline thanks to Marco.

Raffaele - 10/10
Raffaele was an amazing driver. Knew so much about every little village we passed thru. He was exactly where he said it would be at the exact time. Would do it again in a heart beat. Can’t wait to come back

Fantastic experience
If you need a driver in the Sorrento/Amalfi area look no further. Antonio Sicignano picked us up from the train station in Naples and brought us to our hotel in Sorrento. He was warm, charming, and professional. We enjoyed our ride with him so much that we booked him for all of our Transportation needs for the rest of our stay in Sorrento. We proceeded the next day to a day trip to Amalfi and Positano with Antonio. He made as many stops as we wanted along the way while making suggestions. We had the best day with him! He is kind and thoughtful and super helpful with any questions we had. Always on time, always friendly, and always professional. I highly recommend this company and especially Antonio for all your transportation needs in the Sorrento area.

Excellent tour
Luigi and Raffaele were the excellent. Very knowledgeable of the area of the Almafi Coast, Sorrento, Pompei and Naples and were very pleasant and accommodating. Suggestions of things to do and places to eat from Pompeii all the way up the Almafi coast to Positano were excellent. Would highly recommend this tour, especially with Luigi and Raffaele. Beautiful Private Driving Tour of Amalfi Coast, Positano, Ravello, Scala, Amalfi
Wow - What a beautiful experience. Alesandro was our personal driver for the day and he was excellent and such a great driver in an area that is difficult due to all the tourism, buses, cars, motorcycles, etc. and curvy roads. He was amazing. We started in Sorrento and drove through all the little towns along the way and he noted each town and gave us little bits of information about each one. We stopped along the way to have pictures taken along the beautiful coast. Such a beautiful day and it was all our first time to the Amalfi Coast. We stopped in lovely Positano where we did some shopping in all the shops. What a dream. Next was onto Amalfi where Alesandro recommend we see the Picadilly Amalfi Coast Ceramics Factory. This was an excellent recommendation as we all walked away with beautiful Italian ceramic plates, bowls, trivets, jewelry, etc. This is a must see. We then drove through Amalfi and continued onto Ravello. We drove high up into the beautiful mountains to Scala to a wonderful restaurant called Gli Ulivi that he recommended as well. It had a beautiful view and the lunch was delicious and the wait staff so much fun. Such a hidden gem in the mountains. We then ventured back through the coast and stopped at the fruit stand that is insta famous and took some photos. Headed back to Sorrento at the end of an amazing day. This was a treasured experience and we cannot say enough about Alessandro and his warm, friendly and calm personality. We enjoyed every second and would highly recommend this company and Alessandro. Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Private Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Private Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Tour?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Amalfi Coast Sightseeing Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
