A Seamless Amalfi Coast Experience with Roberto and Fabio
We had an excellent experience with Sorrento Car Tours during our recent trip. The service was professional, reliable, and made exploring the Amalfi Coast both easy and enjoyable. Our drivers, Roberto and Fabio, were outstanding—punctual, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. They shared helpful insights along the way and ensured we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop without ever feeling rushed. Driving along the Amalfi Coast can be challenging, so having such skilled and experienced drivers made all the difference. They also enhanced our trip with wonderful recommendations, including a lovely restaurant for lunch in Maiori and a beautiful winery tour with lunch near Pompeii—both of which were highlights of our visit. The vehicle was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making the scenic drives even more enjoyable. We especially appreciated the flexibility of the itinerary and the personalized service. Overall, Sorrento Car Tours provided a seamless and memorable experience. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to explore the Amalfi Coast in comfort and style.

Amazing private car tour and much more!
My wife and I recently planned a trip to Rome and Sorrento. I began corresponding with Roberto at Sorrento Car Tours and he was incredibly helpful in setting up and planning our trip. We wanted to tour Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. Roberto made it easy and at very reasonable pricing. We ended up taking a train to Naples where they picked us up, and drove us to Pompeii. There we met the tour guide they had arranged for us and waited until our tour was over. They then to us to our hotel in Sorrento. The next morning our amazing driver Fabio picked us up and we spent the day touring the Amalfi Coast which was amazing. Stoping at great spots along the way, and eating the most amazing lunch in Ravello. The day we left they picked us up and took us to an olive oil tasting which was fabulous. Then to a great lunch spot in Naples and dropped us off at the train station. It was trouble amazing and I really appreciated Roberto and Fabio making our trip special! Definitely book a trip with them!

Sorrento Car Tours!
We had Sorrento Car Tours pick us up from the Airport in Naples and tour us around Ravello, Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. Fabio was excellent with great suggestions for restaurants and shopping. We also used the car service back to the airport at the end of our trip. They were puncual and friendly and the van was nice and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private Amalfi Coast Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Private Amalfi Coast Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $138 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private Amalfi Coast Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Private Amalfi Coast Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 32 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private Amalfi Coast Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private Amalfi Coast Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private Amalfi Coast Tour?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private Amalfi Coast Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
