Natural Beauty and Native American History

Both Nina and Chris are amazing guides. They were very well-versed in every aspect of the history, geography and geology of the area. We learned so much from them and their knowledge really enhanced the tour. The advantages of a private tour became very evident to us because adjustments could be made according to our interests and the pace of the tour. Aside from being knowledgeable, they were also personable and kind. Their love of the beautiful red rock formations, and the native American history and relics in the area around Sedona is very evident. We highly recommend both Nina and Chris as tour guide guides.

Response from the operator: Dear Susan, thank you for this lovely review. Hope Jeff is doing better. Come back and visit us so we can do Antelope Canyon. Greetings. Chris

    Nina was amazing!

Nina was an amazingly friendly and fascinating guide and human. She knows a million things about the Grand canyon but also is a lover of hiking and experiencing the Grand canyon herself. We felt safe, we were entertained, she adjusted as we went based on the needs of the different people in the group. Numerous times other people who were wandering past stopped to listen to her as she was so well informed and so experienced. Had an amazing time and would highly recommend her others. In fact I already have!

Response from the operator: Charlie, thank you much for your kind words. It was lovely to have you and you family on board and stir your enthusiasm for the outdoors. I do hope to run into you again sometime - until then, happy trails to the four of you! Cheers, Nina

    A Consummate Professional Tour Guide

Chris provided our group of four adults with an excellent tour of Sedona. He is a consummate professional! He knows his information and provided lots of local insider insights that made our experience really great. He even recommended 2-3 local restaurants so we could avoid the tourist crowd. We would highly recommend Chris’ company to all visitors to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Overall , we have been to 60 countries around the world. Chris is one if the top 2-3 guides we have ever had!!

Response from the operator: Dear Carol, thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful review. It was a pleasure showing you the highlights of Sedona. Happy trails to you and your family. Chris Kelly

    Sedona trip

It was amazing. Nina’s knowledge of the area was phenomenal. She was friendly helpful and fun! Nina took us to areas that we would have never found on our own. It was especially nice that it was a private just for the four of us. She provided us with water, Gatorade, and snacks! The was very clean.

Private 4-Hour Tour of Sedona with pickup/drop-off: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sedona.

How much does Private 4-Hour Tour of Sedona with pickup/drop-off cost?

    +

Prices start at $201 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sedona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private 4-Hour Tour of Sedona with pickup/drop-off take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sedona is not rushed.

Is Private 4-Hour Tour of Sedona with pickup/drop-off worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 50 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sedona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private 4-Hour Tour of Sedona with pickup/drop-off?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private 4-Hour Tour of Sedona with pickup/drop-off suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private 4-Hour Tour of Sedona with pickup/drop-off?

    +

Around 18 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sedona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sedona and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private 4-Hour Tour of Sedona with pickup/drop-off start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sedona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sedona?

    +

Sedona's activity market is dominated by off-road jeep tours, and the difference between operators comes down to which trails they are permitted to run. Beyond that: vortex and energy walks, hot air balloon lifts at dawn, stargazing sessions in one of the darkest skies in the country, and Grand Canyon day runs north. We rank on permit access and group size. On Outty we rank every Sedona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Grand Canyon Complete Tour from Sedona or Flagstaff, Sedona’s ONLY Guided ATV Tour: Western Red Rock Backcountry, Sedona Off-Road Jeep Tour: Rugged Western Canyons & Wildlife. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sedona?

    +

March to May and September to November. Summer afternoons bring monsoon storms. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sedona?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
