A fairy tale that lasted three days

Fairy-tale experience that lasted 3 days with Ismail, a wonderful person, expert guide, reliable, pleasant, punctual, a decent person before being an excellent professional. Departed from Marrakech heading to Merzouga and then straight to Fes. During the journey, numerous stops to rest and to observe the various points of interest. Ismail enriched our experience by giving us his passion for the desert and sharing every single emotion with us. He passed on his knowledge to us, he showed us life in the desert and what it means to be a Berber, a \"free man\". The landscapes then do the rest: finding myself for the first time observing the desert in its most ancestral form was a moment that I will never forget in my life. Shkran Ismail

The dream of finding yourself in the desert

Recommended!! My husband and I relied on Ismail, a Berber guide who was polite, courteous, and reliable. He made us feel safe and explained a ton of things to us! Although we are used to DIY road trips, in this case, for this particular destination, I suggest relying on a guide for several reasons: 1) it is a demanding tour, having someone drive for you makes the trip less exhausting, 2) I never felt threatened or unsafe, but having someone who knows the roads like the back of their hand, who crosses even more run-down areas of Morocco, is definitely an advantage! 3) Ismael loves his land so much, and all of this comes through and gives a unique flavor to the experience, which was immersive and unforgettable! Another note not to be underestimated: I suffer a bit from car sickness, but I didn't suffer at all because the car is very comfortable! Before choosing Marocco Charming tour, I also evaluated other agencies, but for the same offer, they are cheaper! Thanks for everything!

An unforgettable experience in the Moroccan desert – impeccable organization!

We chose Morocco Charming Tour for a 3-day private tour from Marrakech to Merzouga to the Erg Chebbi dunes and we can only be fully satisfied with our experience. From the very first moment, we found the organization to be perfect, punctual, and attentive to every detail. The tour, designed for our family of four, allowed us to cross some of the most evocative places in Morocco, from the Tizi n’Tichka pass to Ait Ben Haddou, from Ouarzazate to the Dades Valley, from the Todra Gorges to the spectacular dunes of Merzouga. We stopped for the night, dinner, and a refreshing dip in the pool at the wonderful Riad Gabsi Dades, highly recommended!!! The highlight was definitely the desert experience, arriving at the tent camp by quad at sunset through the dunes, and the traditional dinner enriched by Berber music and the warm welcome of the staff. A special mention, however, goes to our driver and guide Hassan, who contributed to making this trip so pleasant. Hassan speaks truly excellent Italian and was much more than just a driver: during the long transfers, he told us so many things about the places we were passing through, in addition to giving us a great deal of information about the history, culture, traditions, and daily life of Morocco. We especially appreciated his great culture, helpfulness, kindness, and sincere love for his country, which shone through in every one of his stories. Always attentive to our needs, he accompanied us with great professionalism, making us feel safe and at ease throughout the entire trip. A tour that is certainly demanding due to the many hours of travel, but organized so well that it transformed even the transfers into a pleasant part of the experience. We recommend Morocco Charming Tour without hesitation to anyone who wishes to discover Morocco with a private, well-organized trip, and above all, with a knowledgeable and passionate guide like Hassan. An experience we will carry with us for a long time. Heartfelt thanks to the entire Morocco Charming Tour team and especially to Hassan!

From Fes to Marrakech through the desert

Three days in the desert with Ismaele Starting from Fes to Marrakech A young, kind boy and an excellent driver! He still needs a bit more experience as a guide and in paying attention to details (at least for us Europeans) that sometimes make a difference. A Berber family living in the desert. Next time I will want to meet. And the Dad! Great choice for the Stay in the mountains.

    Travelling around the beautiful Morocco

We had a really nice journey through the beautiful Morocco, from Imperial cities to the desert, from Atlas mountains to Chefchaouen, from The Capitol Rabat to Casablanca end the Ocean. Ismail has been a really good driver and organizer. He let us know the Life experience of Nomads in Sahara desert, arranged for us really good stay in the desert and good walks around Fes and Marrakech medinas. We definitely advise you to choose him and his agency " Morocco Charming Tour" for you trip.

Private 3 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.

How much does Private 3 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech cost?

    +

Prices start at $376 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private 3 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.

Is Private 3 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private 3 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private 3 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private 3 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private 3 Days Sahara Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fez?

    +

On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fez?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fez?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
