Had a great time, would go back if we are here again
Great experience, driver was great, friendly and informative. But at the camp no water/drinks were included with the meals. So take plenty with you or be prepared to buy some at a higher price than normal.

Not great
Was left underwhelmed by this tour. Its not guided at all its a transfer service to the desert camp. Thats it. I was barely spoken to or informed of what was happening/planned. I was told when informed of my tent number that dinner was at 9pm and be ready for 6.30am the next morning. Other than that thats all. I especially not recommend for solo travellers. Everyone is on different itineraries so it feels very disorganised. I was shifted between mutliple different groups over the days. Jumped on a camel about 2 minutes after being dropped off by the driver (after 8 hours in the car) while the rest of the passengers stayed on. The camel group had already started and that went for about 20-25 minutes with opportunity to take photos after. The evening dinner was closer to 10pm as well so quite late given the early start next morning. My plate was set alone on a table, so its not set up for mingling or meeting others. The larger groups seemed to be better catered for and informed but i am not entirely sure mostly Spanish and French speakers. So if you are a single or couple you will most likely be scratching your head what is happening. Most disappointing was the second day as indicated the viator itinerary seemed to indicate some sort of activity at sunrise. So I was ready for something at 6.30. Nothing. I just wandered around and watched the sunrise but still stayed in eyesite of the camp in case i missed something. It was actually thats when breakfast should be ready (it wasn't). Then when i asked around 7am what was happening someone guided me to have breakfast and said be ready for 7.30am to leave. I was. But really i was just transported to the side of the road and then picked up by another tour bus at 8.30. This bus only stopped for lunch and toilet breaks no info on where we were along the way. Lots of shuffling around, no communication. The drivers seemed very competent and camel trek surprisingly comfortable camp accommodation was also fine. The afternoon and evening had wind storms so no sunset and no stars. Maybe set your expectations if that is something you really want to see.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We’re glad you found our drivers professional, the camel ride comfortable, and the camp pleasant. We’re sorry the communication and organization did not meet your expectations. We take your comments seriously and will work to improve coordination and guest information, especially for solo travelers and smaller groups.

Go to the desert but choose a different tour service than this one
While we loved the camp, desert, and camels, we questioned whether it was worth it in the end. The drivers were absolutely horrible. There was no communication. They would pull over and just expect us to know to get out for a rest stop. They would occasionally tell us we had 10-15 minutes at the rest stop, but then would sit there chatting and smoking cigarettes for 45+ minutes. They never even told us their name so we could ask questions. They're also scrolling on instagram and chatgpt the entire time driving through twisty mountain roads... On the second leg of the trip, the drivers were openly and excessively flirting with all of the young (maybe 20 years old?) girls on our bus to the point that it was making my sister, brother in law, boyfriend, and myself extremely uncomfortable. Also the air conditioning barely worked in both vans we were in so expect to be sweating in the car all day, both days. If you're on a time crunch in Morocco and don't want to waste time, this tour is NOT for you. At the camp, the amenities were beautiful. The rooms were very nice and did have working air conditioning. The guides help you wrap scarves on your head for the camel ride but 3 of the 4 of ours came undone within 10 minutes. We were able to go explore the dunes as we wished and go sand boarding all evening. Dinner was very nice and had multiple courses and the meal itself was very good. To leave in the morning, we were told to be at the main tent at 7:30 am and we were, but weren't actually taken to leave until about 8:15 am. Overall there's very little professionalism by these guys that run the tours to the point that it's uncomfortable. I'd recommend going to the desert, but I'd also recommend taking a different tour service...
Response from the operator: Thank you for the detailed feedback. We want to clarify that for this specific departure, the second day (Merzouga to Marrakech) was operated by a partner transport company we work with during high-demand periods, which is why the driver differed from day one. That said, we take full responsibility for anyone representing us on our tours, and the behavior you describe is completely unacceptable regardless of who was behind the wheel. We're addressing this directly with that partner and reviewing whether we continue working with them. We're glad the desert and camp lived up to expectations, and truly sorry the transport let you down on the second Day.

2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.
How much does 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour cost?
+
Prices start at €140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.
Is 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 92 out of 100, which we label "90+ Club". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 212 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most highly reviewed in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are. Scoring 90 or above puts it in the Outty 90+ Club, the top tier of everything we rank.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour?
+
Around 74 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Fez?
+
On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, Day Trip to Chefchaouen from Fez ( instagram /Photos ). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Fez?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Fez?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
