Best way to tour the highlands is with Troy!

We did a private tour of Isle of Skye for 3 days and we were 3 families. It was awesome and Troy was amazing, he went above and beyond to provide the best experience! He was very flexible and accommodating. I totally will recommend him to friends and family.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review! Troy is glad you had a great experience, and sends his regards! ~ Caledonian Tours

Amazing Scotland adventure!

It was an amazing 3 day adventure to Skye. Troy was phenomenal from the planning time till the end. It was already a packed schedule, but he was happy to add stirling castle tour and Jacobite steam train, even though it meant he had to drive from 8:00 am to 10 pm every day. Every other tour company ends their day at 6:00 pm, but not Caledonian. Goes an extra mile to make sure we had a great time. Car was clean, gave us snacks, drinks, had umbrellas for all of us and he was very punctual. We were very happy and so after 3 days we booked him for a tour of Falkirk wheel and Glasgow. I highly recommend Caledonian/Troy if you are visiting Scotland!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It''s great to hear you had such an amazing three-day adventure to Skye with Troy. He truly goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is perfect, and we’re glad you noticed his dedication! It means a lot that you appreciated the extra stops as well as the little touches like snacks, drinks, and umbrellas. We’re especially happy you felt so well taken care of that you booked another tour!! Thank you for your kind recommendation! We hope to welcome you back to Scotland for more adventures in the future. ~ Caledonian Tours

Memorable Scotland trip

Troy was amazing, from the initial planning phase to the last day. He was very professional and accommodated our requests like visiting Stirling Castle, waiting for Jacobite Steam train etc into an already packed schedule, even though it meant 12 to 14 hours/day he never complained that we are taking too much time at any place. He planned everything meticulously and was very punctual. He even played music that references the places we visit. After 3 packed days we were so happy with him that we asked him to take us to Falkirk Wheel and Glasgow the next day. His vehicle was very clean, he provided snacks & drinks and had umbrellas for all of us. I highly recommend him for anyone visiting Scotland.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your review. It's great to hear you had such a great experience with Troy. He really enjoyed showing you around and making sure everything went smoothly. It’s great to know you appreciated the little touches and that you felt well taken care of. Thanks again for choosing us for your trip. We hope to see you back in Scotland someday! ~ Caledonian Tours

Worry free ride & views to enjoy

It was a wonderful trip , worry free & totally enjoyed . Those narrow one lane roads were not easy to navigate if not for Troy . He’s well experienced & knew exactly where to take us. His vehicle was very convenient for 6-8 people. His service was excellent - provided snacks , water , drinks & clean van . He got us all send of gift of cookies too. Very sweet gesture.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your lovely review! Troy had an enjoyable time with your group and was glad that you enjoyed your tour! ~ Caledonian Tours

Private 3 Day Tour to Skye Loch Ness and Glencoe from Glasgow: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Glasgow.

How much does Private 3 Day Tour to Skye Loch Ness and Glencoe from Glasgow cost?

+

Prices start at $2700 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Glasgow usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Private 3 Day Tour to Skye Loch Ness and Glencoe from Glasgow take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Glasgow is not rushed.

Is Private 3 Day Tour to Skye Loch Ness and Glencoe from Glasgow worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Glasgow, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Private 3 Day Tour to Skye Loch Ness and Glencoe from Glasgow?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Private 3 Day Tour to Skye Loch Ness and Glencoe from Glasgow suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Private 3 Day Tour to Skye Loch Ness and Glencoe from Glasgow?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Glasgow can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Glasgow and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Private 3 Day Tour to Skye Loch Ness and Glencoe from Glasgow start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Glasgow within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Glasgow?

+

On Outty we rank every Glasgow experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gander Walking Tours in Glasgow, Celtic Park Tour & Dine Package, Glasgow Street Art & Murals Walking Tour with a Local Guide. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Glasgow?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Glasgow?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
