Unforgettable White & Black Desert Experience
We had a truly wonderful time exploring the White and Black Desert. What stood out in particular was the flexibility and smooth organization of our very spontaneous trip. Beyond the breathtaking landscapes, we were also impressed by Hazem's skills as a chef, preparing a delicious meal for us right in the middle of the desert. Would definitely recommend him and the trip.

The best experience that I have ever had while travelling Egypt seven times over nine years!
I contacted Hazem through Facebook Messenger and Whatsapp and he was very responsive. Hazem arranged everything for me once I provided him with the dates of my booking and my pick up location. I was picked up in Giza, Cairo in a luxurious new car by Ahmed for a transfer to the Bahariya Oasis. He was on time, friendly, assisted me with my luggage and was a very skilled and safe driver. We stopped for coffee and I slept in the back seat for part of the journey as I felt that I was in good hands. I was greeted at the Bahariya Oasis by my friendly Bedouin Guide Hazem. He made sure that I was comfortable and that I had everything that I needed, including bottled water to drink, and comfortable accommodation. After a good night sleep Hazem and his Bedouin assistant Ahmed took me out to the Black Desert and set up a beautiful Bedouin camp. They encouraged me to relax while they did all of the work setting up the tents. I spent the time taking photographs. I really loved the atmosphere, fresh air and natural beauty. Hazem and Ahmed then prepared food for us while the sun was setting. The highlight for me was the campfire and observing Bedouin cooking on the hot coals. After we ate the most delicious meal with fresh ingredients and expert cooking skills the moon rose from behind the nearby mountain. It was the most incredible experience of my life. Hazem then drove me through the desert to Agabat Valley. I became so overwhelmed with emotion and excitement with the beaty and magesty of these ancient formations! Hazem is a very experienced and highly skilled desert driver. He navigated the terrain with skilled expertise. I felt safe with him at all times. Hazem then pulled up to a small Oasis that offered protection and comfort while lunch is prepared and for overnight camping. Hazem drove me to the White Desert where I beheld the exquisite beauty of many different white formations including the mushroom. I have never seen anything so magical in all of my travels throughout Egypt and the world. I cannot recommend Hazem highly enough. His friendly Bedouin hospitality, skilled desert driving and delicious cooking were incredible. Hazem always considered my needs and comfort. He was very approachable and flexible, ensuring that I was happy and taken care of, at all times. Hazem worked very hard to meet the Itinerary and to ensure my satisfaction. I will be forever greatful to you Hazem 🙏🏻 If you are thinking of booking your Desert Safari with Bahariya Oasis Egypt Safari, with Hazem as your experienced Desert Guide and Driver, please do not hesitate. It will be an experience of a lifetime, incredible and magical, as it was for me! Hazem can be reached on Whatsapp +20 01030109645 if you have any questions or if you would like to add alternative options or extensions to the Itinerary. ❤️ Ariel

Unforgettable trip, amazing places and guide, 100% recommended
This trip left us with an unforgettable memory thanks to our guide Hazem who was great. He drove us everywhere at our own pace, so much better than with large groups. In addition, he prepared a meal for us worthy of a 5 * hotel. The atmosphere was cool, we will do it again with another group. Thanks to Hazem and his friend.

Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Private 2-Day Tour in Egypt: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cairo.
How much does Private 2-Day Tour in Egypt cost?
+
Prices start at $280 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cairo usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Private 2-Day Tour in Egypt take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cairo is not rushed.
Is Private 2-Day Tour in Egypt worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cairo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Private 2-Day Tour in Egypt?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Private 2-Day Tour in Egypt suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Private 2-Day Tour in Egypt?
+
Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cairo can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cairo and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Private 2-Day Tour in Egypt start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cairo within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cairo?
+
On Outty we rank every Cairo experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include All-in-One Giza Tour, inside Pyramid, sphinx, Camel ride & lunch, VIP Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Tour –Inside the Pyramids&More, Best of Cairo Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Grand Museum Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cairo?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cairo?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
