Egypt Private Guide
My husband and I spent the first week of Oct. 2025 touring Cairo and Luxor with our private guide, Mona Gomaa. She is an Egyptian with degrees in Egyptology, living in Cairo with her husband, an EgyptAir flight attendant, and two sons. I can only say hiring her was a most fortunate experience. Her knowledge of the Cairo and Luxor antiquities is comprehensive and she shared it in a way to make our understanding easy. I also learned some new camera tricks as she took photos of us that I would have never considered. Mona also guides for Kensington Travel tours, which speaks to her expertise in luxury travel. We have traveled to all seven continents and over 40 countries over the years, and I can say without reservation that Mona is in the very top level of private guides we have used. I found communicating with her to set up our tour itinerary was most efficient on WhatsApp +20 100 509 3089.

Wonderful Trip to Ancient World With Egypt & Beyond Company
We visited Cairo, Giza and Luxor in February 2025 on a private guided tour organized by Egypt & Beyond Company (based in Cairo). It was wonderful, extremely well organized and enjoyable tour - thanks to company staff and excellent egyptologist guides that have outstanding knowledge about subjects they cover. We learned so much about Egyptian ancient culture. We visited some parts of Cairo, Giza with its Pyramids and New Grand Museum, valleys of kings and queens, temples of Luxor, etc. We were lucky because our guide took us also to Temple Habou and worker' village with its well preserved temples and tombs. During this tour we visited repytable papyrus factory and jewelry store in Cairo, perfume and oil stores in Luxor, and alabaster factory near valley of kings. We had excellent impression about these places. All was done with the assistance of our guides. During our trip we felt very comfortable and safe mostly due to outstanding job by our tour company. The visit of all archeological sites gave us unforgettable experience, and our hosts helped us so much to have wonderful memories. The routine (a/p transfer, hotels, meals, transportation) was excellent as well. I cannot think about any negatives during this trip. Thank you Egypt & Beyond for your incredible job.

2 day Luxor and Cairo from Safaga Port.
This tour delivered exactly what it promised. The sights over the 2 days were amazing. The tour guide in Luxor was amazing, the one in Luxor only good. Excursies Egypt used other companies for parts of the tour, leading to some confusion over who was doing what and being informed ahead of time. But everything worked out and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Adventure in Luxor and Cairo
The tour itinerary part of the trip is fabulous and you experience a lot of the highlights in Egypt. We had exceptional tour guides who are very knowledgeable and interesting. We had only 30 minutes for our dinner at Luxor, but traffic did play a part in the timing of some events. Our group of six had major concerns with the van driver in Cairo. . We felt our lives were in danger as he drove up to 120 km in very heavy traffic, honking his horn and tailgating at a very dangerous close distance. At times he was on the phone while driving at high speeds. We were also disappointed with the hotel in Cairo with rooms not clean, brown water coming out of faucets so could not shower and one couple was taken to a room already occupied. They were taken to two rooms where the key didn’t work. Also, we did not arrive at the hotel until 1:30 am and told to be at breakfast no later than 6 a.m. This is not enough rest time after a full day of touring. We have used Viator numerous times and always extremely satisfied with the tours. We feel like this was serious enough to be brought to your attention.

Very good
The drivers and your guide are excellent and very knowledgeable, respectful and good mannered. Assignment of vehicle was not organized well and caused more than 1 hour delay. Hotel is not 5 star, probably only 2-3 star. Airport transfer is very good but our last lunch was McDonalds instead of Schwarma as we were told otherwise everything was really good.
