Wonderful Rainbow Mountain Private Tour
The private tour with 3 adults and 2 children was wonderful. The guide and driver did everything above expected levels. They were punctual, explained everything and were very caring and knowledgeable. Despite me having issues with altitude and the 2 children also being affected by the altitude, we were only a few minutes behind schedule. The smoothness of the trip to Rainbow Mountain went well because of the professionalism of the guide and driver. Bravo. I would recommend this tour for everyone.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that both our guide and driver exceeded your expectations with their punctuality, care, and professionalism. It’s great to know that, despite the challenges of the altitude, your family was still able to enjoy a smooth and memorable experience at Rainbow Mountain. Your kind words and strong recommendation mean a lot to us. We truly look forward to welcoming you again for another unforgettable journey in Peru. Warm regards, Edwin Pimentel

The trekking 12 Lagunas was WONDERFUL!! From the first contact with Edwin (PPT) to my return to the hotel, everything very well organized🙏🏾. Thankful to Marco (chauffeur) Christian (guide) Lucio (the mule) and his horse and of course Edwin. Trekking, food, transfer, all very well and views that left me breathless. Fully recommended although you have to prepare a little bit because it is all hike in height, pure nature ❤️🙏🏾
Response from the operator: ¡Muchísimas gracias por tu hermoso mensaje!

The lunch (included) was also very tasty and we ate with a beautiful view of the lagoons. The attention to detail was the cherry on top!

+

How far in advance should I book Private 12 Lagoons full Day Ausangate Trek from Cusco?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. What should I bring or wear?

+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
