Yes to food in Munich
This was our first tour in our trip. She was excited and excellent. Highly recommended. Don't miss this!

Personal food tour is amazing - Ask for Kevin!
I was a little concerned at the price of the tour but wanted a really personal experience for my daughters and I on our last day in Europe. I am happy to report this was the highlight of our trip. The weather was dreadful but Kevin was brilliant, quickly modifying stops to maximize the food and history while minimize the raindrops. He took great delight in quizzing our local knowledge and telling us detailed stories to add context to the local food and city history. His passion and knowledge of the area and its food made this experience perfect. He was so kind and engaging with my college age kids, even they were impressed.
Response from the operator: Thank you for this wonderful review. We are happy and grateful to hear you and your daughters got the special experience you were hoping for. All the best from the Fork & Walk team!

Fabulous Fun Food Experience
This private food and walking tour was amazing! Iain was a perfect host and guide. We walked thru the Christmas Markets and the huge food market. We were able to experience everything from a delicious pork sandwich, fresh pickles, german potato soup to yummy candies, nuts, and pastries. Iain was incredibly knowledgable on the food and the culture/history of Munich. It was a perfect way to push thru the day to remove the jet lag. We returned to the hotel happy and with full bellies. Our only regret.... we failed to get a picture with our fabulous and fun guide.
Response from the operator: Thank you for leaving us such a wonderful review. We would be happy to host you again another time and get you that picture with Iain ;) All the best from the team!

Feast for the Eye & Belly
This food and walking tour was amazing. Being a small group we were afforded the opportunity to see sites a large group would not be able to. Our guide Iain was knowledgable not only about the history of Munich but about all the food we served and boy were we served some amazing dishes. We were stuffed and yes there was beer. We love a food tour and this was one of the best.
Response from the operator: Amazing! And great to hear you enjoyed the Bavarian cuisine so much. All the best from the Fork & Walk Team.

Why this scores 52
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Premium Private Foodie Experience with Local - all tastings included: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Munich.
How much does Premium Private Foodie Experience with Local - all tastings included cost?
+
Prices start at $348 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Munich usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Premium Private Foodie Experience with Local - all tastings included take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Munich is not rushed.
Is Premium Private Foodie Experience with Local - all tastings included worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 52 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Munich, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Premium Private Foodie Experience with Local - all tastings included?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Premium Private Foodie Experience with Local - all tastings included suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Premium Private Foodie Experience with Local - all tastings included?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Munich can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Munich and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Premium Private Foodie Experience with Local - all tastings included start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Munich within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Munich?
+
On Outty we rank every Munich experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site Tour with Train from Munich, Munich Classic Bike Tour @ 11.30am with Surfers & beergarden stop, Dachau Memorial Half-Day Tour from Munich (Early-Start). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Munich?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Munich?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
