    A quick highlight

We had a very good experience! It was amazing to get to know something about the local art. The people where very friendly, the place clean and the lady who walked us through the workshop was amazing! The only thing that could be improved is that we felt a bit rushed. Especially in the first part at the wheel. Like that it does not make much sense to do it at all. Th le painting was very cool. As we came to the mosaic there was almost no choice of color. So that we all basically where left with the same tile. That's not very artistic. In the end we where done way earlier than the estimated time. But all in all it was a very good experience!

    A bit disappointed

The experience was ok. They were 30mins late to pick us up from the hotel to the point we thought they weren’t coming. The driver finally showed up and was very nice though, and it was stated as a 4 hour workshop. We only had 2 hours there before the guide said we were finished with our tour even though it was advertised as a workshop (class). I found it kinda rude that the guide asked for a tip 3 times, otherwise it was an informative experience. We did not get to make our own pot, we painted a small cup and couldn’t have it finished (fired) because we were leaving to a flight later in the day. The only cool experience was making the Moroccan decorative tile. The guy who helped us was nice and that was the best part of the 2 hour (not 4 hour) workshop tour. We also got to spin a pot on the wheel but didn’t get to do anything further with it. I was disappointed that it wasn’t advertised better as I thought we would get to make our own pottery by myself. I would’ve given 3 stars, but due to the 30 min delay, and the guide asking for a tip multiple times i feel it’s fair.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I was shocked to read your comments about the guide. I am the manager and was not present this week due to a family emergency. I have spoken to the guide and assured that this behavior will not happen again. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We are glad to hear that you found parts of the experience enjoyable. Regarding the pot, we can always send it to your home if you provide us with your address. Please note that the theft is beyond our control. As for the duration of the "Pottery and Mosaic Workshop: Make Your Own Pot - Fes, Morocco," the 4-hour period includes the pickup time as well. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to provide a better experience in the future.

    Amazing

Seamless pick up from our road by private driver. Private tour of the work shop with guide. Got to paint a tagine, make a mosaic and try the kick wheel 10/10 would recommend!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We hope to see you again in Morocco.

    Great experience

The experience was very fun, I was picked up from outside my riad and we drove down to an area known for pottery and mosaics. I was dubious booking because there was only 1 other review, but it was worth it. I got to paint my own mini tajine ceramic, saw the people at work, and got to make my own tiles. Both of which (mini tajine, ceramic) I got to keep! I also got offered, water and tea. I would without a doubt recommend this experience. The guide/owner was also very nice, since I ended early, he showed me a place to see the whole medina of fez and also dropped me off to my bus, he went above and beyond.

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Fez.

How much does Pottery and Mosaic Workshop: Make Your Own Pot - Fes, Morocco cost?

    +

Prices start at €20 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Fez usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Pottery and Mosaic Workshop: Make Your Own Pot - Fes, Morocco take?

    +

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Fez is not rushed.

Is Pottery and Mosaic Workshop: Make Your Own Pot - Fes, Morocco worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.4/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Fez, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Pottery and Mosaic Workshop: Make Your Own Pot - Fes, Morocco?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Pottery and Mosaic Workshop: Make Your Own Pot - Fes, Morocco suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Pottery and Mosaic Workshop: Make Your Own Pot - Fes, Morocco?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Pottery and Mosaic Workshop: Make Your Own Pot - Fes, Morocco start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Fez within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Fez?

    +

On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fez?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fez?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
