FANTASTIC BOAT TOUR!!! The half day was just perfect, it didn’t feel rushed at all. We stopped at two spots to swim and we had beautiful scenery (our guide was so nice to stop and take pictures of us also!!!). The atmosphere was so relaxing yet luxurious even though it was semi-private (shared with 7 others). Loved it would 100% do it again!!!

Positano boating excursion
This was a highlight of our entire trip. Francesco was absolutely wonderful - very knowledgeable and personable. The trip was perfectly planned with the exact right amount of time to explore Amalfi and enough stops for swimming at beautiful places. The Emerald Grotto was great if you’ve never experienced one but otherwise could be skipped. The restaurant for lunch was in a beautiful setting but was a bit pricey. All in all, well worth it!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We are thrilled to hear that your boat tour was one of the highlights of your trip. It’s wonderful to know that Francesco helped make your experience special with his knowledge and friendly service. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him! We’re also happy to hear that you enjoyed the itinerary, the swimming stops, and the beautiful places along the Amalfi Coast. Your feedback about the Emerald Grotto and the lunch stop is greatly appreciated and helps us continue improving our guests’ experiences. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you on board again for another unforgettable day at sea! - Positano Boats Team

excellent tour
Our half day tour was excellent! We were picked up right at La Gavitella, so we did not have to find our own way into Positano. The boat tour was the best way to see the Amalfi coast. We had a small group, personalized experience and several swimming stops in clear, clean water. Sebastian was a very welcoming host and a terrific captain! He really made our experience a terrific one. Thank you!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your half-day cruise and that the pickup from La Gavitella made everything easy and stress-free. It’s great to know you appreciated the small-group atmosphere, the swimming stops in the clear waters, and the views of the Amalfi Coast from the sea. We will also make sure to pass your kind words on to Sebastian—he will be very happy to know he helped make your experience so special. We truly hope to welcome you on board again soon for another unforgettable day! - Positano Boats team

SOOOOO AMAZING
What an absolute treat this was. We ended up going on a full day excursion for the same price because there wasn't anyone else booked for the half day trip, so they upgraded us. Turned out to be a blessing as we would have missed SO much if we'd only done the half day. Experience couldn't have been more fun. Diving from a boat into the crystal clear waters is an unforgettable memory... The captain in training, Sebastian, needs to have his own boat. He's an absolute master at maneuvering the boat, especially on dockings where there were swells. He's so good with the guests. Kept telling us that his only goal was to make sure we were all happy and having a good time. We would 100% go with these guys again!!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your amazing review! We're thrilled to hear that your day turned into such a special experience. We're glad we could upgrade you to the full-day tour, and it's wonderful to know it gave you the chance to see even more of the stunning Amalfi Coast. Your kind words about Sebastian mean a lot to us. We'll be sure to share your compliments with him—he'll be delighted to hear that his passion, skill, and dedication made such a positive impression. His goal is always to ensure every guest has an unforgettable day, and we're so happy that came through. Thank you for choosing us, and we can't wait to welcome you back for another incredible day on the water! - Positano Boats Team

Why this scores 75
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Positano: Half-Day Amalfi Coast Cruise with Prosecco and Swimming: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Positano.
How much does Positano: Half-Day Amalfi Coast Cruise with Prosecco and Swimming cost?
+
Prices start at $139 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Positano usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Positano: Half-Day Amalfi Coast Cruise with Prosecco and Swimming take?
+
Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Positano is not rushed.
Is Positano: Half-Day Amalfi Coast Cruise with Prosecco and Swimming worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 46 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Positano, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Positano: Half-Day Amalfi Coast Cruise with Prosecco and Swimming?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Positano: Half-Day Amalfi Coast Cruise with Prosecco and Swimming suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Positano: Half-Day Amalfi Coast Cruise with Prosecco and Swimming?
+
Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Positano can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Positano and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Positano: Half-Day Amalfi Coast Cruise with Prosecco and Swimming start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Positano within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Positano?
+
On Outty we rank every Positano experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cooking class with Pasta, mozzarella and Tiramisu with wine, Capri and Blue Grotto Semi Private Boat Day Trip from Sorrento, From Sorrento: Positano & Amalfi Coast Boat Tour with Pick Up. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Positano?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Positano?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
