Porto, we’ll be back!
The tour exceeded our expectations! We loved the variety of food and drinks, trying new things, and the tour guide Jose was excellent - full of knowledge about the city, friendly and chatty. The length of the tour was perfect and the group of 6 was great, not too big or small. Can’t wait to do another secret food tour in a new city!
Response from the operator: Thank you for joining us. Every guest experiences the city a little differently, and we're pleased Secret Food Tours could be part of your visit. We hope to see you again!

Big smiles and full bellies
We had a fantastic time with José. He was so friendly and gave us a deep knowledge of the history along with many amazing food facts and locations. This was our first ‘secret food tour’ and I will definitely book again on our next trip since it is offered all over the world. Highly recommend this tour to get all the local foods covered. We were very full and happy by the end. Our kids, age 9/10, also enjoyed the food and adventure.
Response from the operator: Thank you for choosing Secret Food Tours! Your review is appreciated, and we're glad you took the time to share it. We hope to see you again.

Amazing Food Tour of Porto
We really enjoyed our tour. Jose was such a great host - he truly enjoyed sharing his city of Porto with us as well as all the yummy food. He is clearly passionate about history and Porto. Friends of ours recently moved to Porto and they agreed that everywhere Jose took us was the best of everything - in terms of food as well as the experience. We would highly recommend Secret Food Tours and specifically Jose if you can ask for him.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your kind feedback. We're happy to know that you enjoyed discovering local favorites and learning more about the area during the tour. We look forward to welcoming you back to Secret Food Tours!

Porto Food Tour of 8 Tastings: Custard Tart, Bifana & Hidden Gems: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Porto.
How much does Porto Food Tour of 8 Tastings: Custard Tart, Bifana & Hidden Gems cost?
+
Prices start at $73 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Porto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Porto Food Tour of 8 Tastings: Custard Tart, Bifana & Hidden Gems take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Porto is not rushed.
Is Porto Food Tour of 8 Tastings: Custard Tart, Bifana & Hidden Gems worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 242 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Porto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Porto Food Tour of 8 Tastings: Custard Tart, Bifana & Hidden Gems?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Porto Food Tour of 8 Tastings: Custard Tart, Bifana & Hidden Gems suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Porto Food Tour of 8 Tastings: Custard Tart, Bifana & Hidden Gems?
+
Around 85 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Porto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Porto and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Porto Food Tour of 8 Tastings: Custard Tart, Bifana & Hidden Gems start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Porto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Porto?
+
On Outty we rank every Porto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Unvanquished Tour in Porto City Center, Porto's #1 Walking Tour, Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Porto?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Porto?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
