Great Museum
My husband and I visited this museum whilst spending the day in the WoW District and had an enjoying few hours here. We purchased a 28 hour ticket for around £35pp giving us access to all of the WoW museums which, having visited, is excellent value. We visited during February and the crowds were fairly low meaning we were able to walk through the museum at our own pace as there were very few people there with us. The museum was very informative, it perhaps wasn't as 'fun' as you might expect a chocolate museum to be, instead focusing on a lot of factual information but it really took you through the process of chocolate making from bean harvesting to being on the shelves. There were some interactive exhibits and 'hands on' experiences such as scent smelling but overall, this is definitely a chocolate museum for grown ups. At the end there is some chocolate tasking and machinery as the museum is actually a working chocolate factory! You also get given a token to try winning a chocolate gift from the grab machine which was fun. As you may expect, there's a large gift shop at the end selling a variety of chocolate products. The gift shop is quite expensive but there's some really high quality, good chocolate in there. We spent a little more than we had planned but we bought back some amazing chocolate you can't easily get hold of at home. All in all, this was an informative museum and enjoyable experience. I'd recommend it.

Chocolate Experience was good, not great
A good experience when getting multiple museums on the WOW tickets. You do get a tasting on Port in a little chocolate cup at the end. Also you get a token for a “claw” machine to get a chocolate bar and it seemed as though you could run it until you got one of the items.

Fun, nice break to get quiet, pace yourself history on chocolate.
Lots of reading up and history of chocolate. It was a nice break, enjoyed it. We just did a self guided tour. You can read what you want and skip the rest. The end you get to sample chocolates, port or grape juice. There’s a cafe at the end, too, after the store. It’s cute, but not required. Fun for family but maybe not small kiddos.

Fine
Surprised how boring the exhibits were. Lots of words to read and very few interactive elements. We were saved by the tasting at the end of the route.
