Brilliant rides, but expect long queues
We had a great time at PortAventura and Ferrari Land. The rides were absolutely brilliant — really fun, exciting and definitely some of the most thrilling rides we’ve been on. There’s a really good variety, so there’s something for everyone. The biggest downside for us was the queues. They were horrendously long, and we spent a lot of our day just waiting around to get on the rides. Some of the wait times were ridiculous, which did take away from the experience a little. Overall, we still had an amazing time and would recommend going, especially if you love thrill rides. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time in the queues!
Response from the operator: Dear customer, Thank you for sharing your experience! 😊 We’re delighted to hear that you had a great day at PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land and especially enjoyed the variety of exciting rides and attractions. We understand that long queues during periods of high attendance can affect the overall experience, and we appreciate you highlighting this for future visitors. Thank you for recommending the experience, and we hope to accompany you again on another fun-filled adventure! Best regards,

Portaventura April 2026 , had a fabulous day very impressed with the park and how clean it was.
Very good park, very clean, very busy but worth the wait for the rides Ferrari didn’t open till 4.30 which I thought strange so a rush to get on the ride and back to our coach

Tickets for wrong date
Had a horrible experience with this provider. It was quite chaotic when we got to meeting point, no clear instructions where to catch the bus. Bus left 30 min lates. We got to portaventura at noon then we realised they gave us entrance tickets WITH THE WRONG DATE. It was very hard to reach them. I ended up having to buy new tickets to enter. We lost a lot of money because i had paid for express passes that we didnt even ended up using for lack of time. It took me many emails to viator to finally be reimbursed. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone
Response from the operator: Dear Catherine_P We regret the inconveniences you experience, due to a glitch in the system, the tickets you received at the check in wasn't correct. Even though new tickets were sent, we completely understand that the incident caused a delay in your day. Sincerely, Julia Travel Customer Service

A great day out
This was my second time in salou and I had to go back to the park. This time we just went to portaventura and not Ferrari land. We got a taxi from our hotel in Salou and it cost €10 each way. The day ticket was €50 per person. Loved it. A day of rollercoaster's was such fun. Would defo recommend. Arrrive early. We didn’t get the fast pass as the park wasn’t extremely busy. If you go on a busy day the fast pass is well worth getting. You would need the full day to get around. Plenty of walking. Food was good. Plenty of water fountains to top up your water. U can get ponchos for the water ones but we didn’t bother. We didn’t get drenched.

CRAP - Don't do it!
The park itself was ordinary, rides were good but transport was terrible. When we first arrived there was a huge line and only one person serving (other people appeared available) the bus was very uncomfortable with broken seats etc. On the return journey they requested we arrive by 6.15pm at the pickup and the bus didn't arrive until 7.15pm. We were very cold (from wind and being wet from rides) and everyone was concerned about how we were going to return. Upon calling the tour operator, no help was offered and we were just told the bus is on the way. My husband and I were not able to sit next to each other on the trip home as people were pushing to get on and spread out. The bus driver was very rude on the return journey.
Response from the operator: Dear James_B, Thank you for taking the time to share this review, I regret to learn that the tour didn’t live up to your expectations. I am sorry about all all the inconveniences caused by the delay of the bus. Please do not hesitate to contact us through your booking agency in case you need our assistance, Best regards,

Why this scores 51
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land Day Trip from Barcelona: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Barcelona.
How much does PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land Day Trip from Barcelona cost?
+
Prices start at $69 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Barcelona usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land Day Trip from Barcelona take?
+
Plan for about 11 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Barcelona is not rushed.
Is PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land Day Trip from Barcelona worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 54 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Barcelona, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land Day Trip from Barcelona?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land Day Trip from Barcelona suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 11-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land Day Trip from Barcelona?
+
Around 19 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Barcelona can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Barcelona and add a light layer if any part of the 11-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land Day Trip from Barcelona start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Barcelona within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Barcelona?
+
Barcelona's Gaudí sites are capacity-limited and the official timed tickets go first, so most of the market is resellers with a guide attached. We weight those heavily on whether the guide is an architecture specialist. Beyond Gaudí, the tapas crawls in Gràcia and the Montserrat day trips carry the highest rankings in the city. On Outty we rank every Barcelona experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Gràcia Tapas and Vermouth Crawl, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel & Cliff Jump from Barcelona, Costa Brava Tour: Kayak, Snorkel, Cliff Jump & lunch Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Barcelona?
+
May, June, September and October. Sagrada Família light is best mid-morning. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Barcelona?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
