Live narration as we traveled through Poipu
Our tour was lead by the owners, Lori and Eugene. We were greeted at the meeting point where the e-bikes were prepped. Because my wife and I completed our waivers ahead of time, all that was left to do was get on our bikes and start the tour. Lori lead the way and ensured all the guests were familiarized with the technical use of the bikes. As we traveled, she used a radio transmitter to speak to all seven of the guests whose bikes were equipped with wireless speakers. It was a huge plus to receive the historical background of the different sites in real time as we encountered them with wheels rolling. There were several stops that allowed everyone to rest a bit, get a snack, and use the restroom. At each stop, Eugene and Lori presented local knowledge like seasoned team teachers. They did a nice job complementing one another, picking up where the other left off. The 3-hour tour was just the right amount of time to get a feel of Poipu and the surrounding area.
Response from the operator: Mahalo for the kind & thorough review! So happy that you enjoyed the tour! Appreciate you taking the time to write the review :) we hope to see you again on another ride! Mahalo!

Loved this bike ride!
This may become the best activity of our trip to Hawaii. We spent 4 days on the big island then came to Kauai. The bike ride was fabulous! Not too easy, not too hard, just right. Plenty of historical facts about the Poipo area along with information about the local beaches, restaurants, flora and fauna. The turtles were not on the beach for us so we plan to come back this evening and hope to see them. Highly recommend this activity.
Response from the operator: Mahalo, Mary, for your thoughtful review and kind words! We loved having you and Robin on the tour with us yesterday! We hope you got to see the turtles last night!!! Mahalo and take care.

Great e-bike tour and history lesson of the area.
It is the best way to get some fun exercise and learn about the history of the island. The pace was not overwhelming and easy for young and old. The e-bikes are well maintained and the guides are knowledgeable. They are willing to answer all questions. I highly recommend this e-bike tour.
Response from the operator: Mahalo, Kathy, for your kind words and thorough feedback. So happy you enjoyed the tour. Loved meeting you! We hope to see you again on another ride with BikeIt Poipu. ALOHA!

Loved the exercise while learning!
Lori and Eugen were the best! They made the tour fun and informative. Wish we would have made this tour our first when we arrived rather than the last as they were excellent at pointing out where we should go and what else to do.
Response from the operator: Mahalo, Mark, for your kind words. So happy you enjoyed the tour. We loved meeting you guys!!! Hope to see you again on another ride with us. MAHALO! :)

Why this scores 78
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Poipu and Koloa E-Bike Scenic Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kauai.
How much does Poipu and Koloa E-Bike Scenic Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $167 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kauai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Poipu and Koloa E-Bike Scenic Tour take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kauai is not rushed.
Is Poipu and Koloa E-Bike Scenic Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 78 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 176 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kauai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Poipu and Koloa E-Bike Scenic Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Poipu and Koloa E-Bike Scenic Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Poipu and Koloa E-Bike Scenic Tour?
+
Around 62 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kauai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kauai and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Poipu and Koloa E-Bike Scenic Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kauai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kauai?
+
Kauai sells Na Pali Coast boat and helicopter tours, Waimea Canyon drives, tubing through old plantation ditches and Hanalei kayak trips. Ocean conditions shut down the north shore boat runs in winter, so cancellation terms matter. On Outty we rank every Kauai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Koloa Zipline in Kauai, Kauai: NaPali Boat Tour on the Amelia K, Kauai: Secret Falls Kayak and Hike. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kauai?
+
April to June and September to October, with calmest seas in summer. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kauai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
