Lovely scenic boat ride and swim.

We booked this trip via our Tui rep. It was half-day overall including transfer time. My husband and son (9) felt it was the highlight of our holiday, they enjoyed the boat ride and swimming. Our trip included lunch and drinks. The pasta was ok, the paella was excellent. The bar was all inclusive and I made sure to book a morning departure as worried I’d end up with loads of drunk young adults - our trip included about 70 guests, mostly families and couples. Also the bar is very basic (fine for us but if you’re going for the booze…). Swimming was lovely and we got to see some fish, but be mindful that the current can be very strong, my son swims well but we put him in a life jacket/float and he was much happier after that (as were we!). The ride home was very choppy - it was fun but be mindful if you’re not great with boats. If you’re going with younger children be mindful that the loo is a bit grim (as you might expect for this sort of boat). I think I’d have liked a bit more local info/tour guide type stuff as part of the trip but overall no complaints and we had a lovely time.

Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We are delighted to hear that your husband and son enjoyed the experience and that it was one of the highlights of your holiday. We’re pleased you enjoyed the swimming, the paella and the drinks, and that you had a pleasant atmosphere on board. We also appreciate your helpful comments regarding the facilities and the amount of information provided during the trip. Feedback like yours is very valuable to us as we continue working to improve our service. Thank you again for choosing to join us, and we hope to welcome you back on board in the future.

We hope to welcome you on board again for another great day at sea.

Great mini catamaran cruise

Perfect little dose of the sea. For a catamaran trip with a chance to swim and snorkel it was perfect. The option to get of at either port to have a walk around the shops meant we didn’t have to return to where we had boarded so could have a look around another area, grab lunch and walk back to our hotel from there. The company was great in swapping our PM sail to a AM one, the morning of so we would get back in better time for our airport transfer.

Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re so pleased the trip was just what you were looking for and that you enjoyed the swimming, snorkelling and the flexibility of being able to finish at a different port. We’re especially glad we could accommodate the change to the morning sailing on the same day and help you get back in plenty of time for your airport transfer. It was a pleasure to have you on board, and we hope to see you again on your next visit.

Playa Blanca: Mini Cruise to Papagayo with Swimming Stop: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lanzarote.

How much does Playa Blanca: Mini Cruise to Papagayo with Swimming Stop cost?

+

Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lanzarote usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Playa Blanca: Mini Cruise to Papagayo with Swimming Stop take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lanzarote is not rushed.

Is Playa Blanca: Mini Cruise to Papagayo with Swimming Stop worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 63 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lanzarote, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Playa Blanca: Mini Cruise to Papagayo with Swimming Stop?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Playa Blanca: Mini Cruise to Papagayo with Swimming Stop suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Playa Blanca: Mini Cruise to Papagayo with Swimming Stop?

+

Around 22 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lanzarote can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lanzarote and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Playa Blanca: Mini Cruise to Papagayo with Swimming Stop start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lanzarote within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lanzarote?

+

On Outty we rank every Lanzarote experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guapatini's Show Bar, #1 thing to do PDC (Badge of Excellence), Catamaran Sailing in Lanzarote, Tour to Timanfaya, Jameos del Agua, Cueva de los Verdes and viewpoint from the cliff. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lanzarote?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lanzarote?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
