Peter's lunch guide full of honey tips on the outside of the tour

Last trip with friends to Sydney with pj With a true open run, hungry Australian animal friends watched every tour was pleasant and safe. Because there was a delicate, dense Peter support. A lot of great photos, so not just memories, but pictures. I hope to meet you again:) The Blue Mountain in June is colder than you think. Armed tightly:)

Response from the operator: 소중한 후기 감사드림니다. 1: 안전을 최우선으로 도와 드림니다. 2: 섬세하고 치밀함은 너무 과찬신듯 합니다. 다음에는 꼭 블루마운틴 저하고 같이 가보세요. 감사합니다.

    Fantastic Tour with Peter

A couple of friends and I did the Blue Mountains Trails tour with Peter last Saturday and had an amazing day. Peter was a great tour guide. Very friendly and lots of fun but also very knowledgable about the area and the timings to visit the various points on the tour to keep ahead of the crowds. The blue mountains are stunning and the walking trail out of the valley was exceptional and worth the effort for some beautiful views along the way. A brilliant day and would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Response from the operator: Dear Customer, We are extremely happy to hear that you had a great time with Peter. He has been doing tours for a long time and has an immense amount of knowledge. Thank you for taking the time and typing this review. We hope to see you again in the future. Kind Regards Justin

Excellent Day With Peter, PJ Tours

Had a day in Sydney and thought a trip to Blue Mountains would be nice. Met with Peter at PJ Tours and he helped us book a next day tour online. It turned out he was our guide and driver as well. What a helpful and professional gentleman. We had just returned from a two week New Zealand cruise and had been on excursions in 5 different ports. We have also been on roughly 7 cruises in the past. Peter was the best tour guide we've ever had. He is very experienced and know the Sydney area well. He was very helpful in suggesting transportation options in Sydney that had nothing to do with the excursion. The Blue Mountain Trails Tour started at 0730. We visited Featherdale Wildlife Park before the crowds arrived, then proceeded to the Blue Mountains. My wife and I are both hearing impaired and he made special effort to make sure we understood instructions. Unfortunately we missed some of his commentaries due to hearing problems but he is obviously an expert. He walked with us through some of the National Park which is absolutely beautiful, shepherded his tour group on the sky tram, obtained appropriate tickets and generally saw to our well being. He even extends the trip by 30 minutes after determining no one had pressing time constraints. He took us to Lincoln Rock, an absolutely beautiful overlook. He was constantly taking pictures of the tour participants and arranged to send us photos. We got back to Circle Quay around 1800. It was a beautiful experience with a superb guide and I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to experience the Blue Mountains. If Peter is your guide, you will be well satisfied.

Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Greetings from Sydney! We hope you are well. Thank you for sharing your feedback and such a detailed review on the tour to Blue Mountains! Peter is one of our best tour guide who has 20 years of experience in touring Blue Mountains. We are happy to hear that you have thoroughly enjoyed the tour with Peter. Let us know again if you revisit Sydney and once again, thank you for your great review and wish we can see you in the future again. Best regards, PJ Tours

Great personalized service - we DID IT ALL!

Our guide was PROMPT to leave the 4 Seasons in Sydney at 7:40 - Thankfully! We were the first group to reach Featherdale Park and had 20 minutes before the next group showed up. We had 90 minutes there, which was 'perfect'. As adorable as the animals are, keep moving every few minutes so you can see all of them. We arrived at Echo Point, had a quick lunch, great views and then hiked almost 3 hours from Echo Pt, via the Honeymoon Bridge and Giant Stairway down to the Jamison Valley. Do it this way so you don't have to climb UP the Giant Stairway, which is more like a 800 rung ladder. Brutal climb. Half of us came up the 3 minute Scenic Railway while the other half did the 3 minute Scenic Cableway. These 'lifts' were short so we didn't feel like paying extra money to do them again. We then drove to Leura and had wonderful tea and scones but it ate up most of our 70 minutes - which was fine since the hike had taken it's toll on a few of us. We did get to stroll around the small village for about 25 minutes. Good naps on the bus both going out and returning. The drop off at the Olympic Village Ferry site was convenient and a great way to see another part of the waterways around Sydney while we rode the ferry back to Circular Quay. I was amazed how much we did/saw in one day. Our guide was so on top of everything with our tickets and getting input on what we wanted do/adjusting as we went yet still keeping us 'on task' to complete everything. He even helped those at the end of the cruise with their Opal cards, including waving goodbye to us as our ferry departed. A very warm guide with a nice sense of humor. I cannot speak enough about how great a day we had and all for an unbelievable price. We are very grateful we found this tour.

Response from the operator: Dear James, Thank you for taking your precious time off to share such detailed review of our Tour! We are extremely glad that you have enjoyed the Blue Mountains Tour with us! Our guide Peter is one of our best tour guide who is not only passionate and enthusiastic but is also highly knowledgeable with much know-hows he has gained over 10 years of experience being a tour guide. He knows all the ways to create the best experience for our customers by finding various scenic spots for photo-taking and finding the less crowded times to visit various locations. He knows the best way to enjoy the Blue Mountains! We are really happy that you have thoroughly enjoyed the tour and hope you have took back memorable experience from our Blue Mountains Tour! Enjoy the rest of your holiday and we hope to see you back in Sydney! Best regards, PJ Tours

PJ Blue Mountains PLUS [MAX12+1]: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sydney.

How much does PJ Blue Mountains PLUS [MAX12+1] cost?

    +

Prices start at $73 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sydney usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does PJ Blue Mountains PLUS [MAX12+1] take?

    +

Plan for about 6.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sydney is not rushed.

Is PJ Blue Mountains PLUS [MAX12+1] worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sydney, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule PJ Blue Mountains PLUS [MAX12+1]?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is PJ Blue Mountains PLUS [MAX12+1] suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book PJ Blue Mountains PLUS [MAX12+1]?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sydney can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sydney and add a light layer if any part of the 6.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does PJ Blue Mountains PLUS [MAX12+1] start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sydney within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Sydney?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sydney experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include WILD Wombat and Kangaroo Day Tour, All Inclusive, Depart Syd: Blue Mountains Best All Inclusive with Local Guide, Blue Mountain Small Group Tour All Inclusive. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sydney?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sydney?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
