Best tour operator to Pig Island
Fantastic trip, about 1 hour from Casa de Mar hotel to boat departure point in south. We did afternoon trip and had plenty of time to chill on Pig Island, tasty buffet lunch provided, free kayaks and snorkelling gear. Had the bonus of seeing the sunset before returning to Koh Samui for transfer back to hotel.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We are glad to know that you liked the experience.

Pig Island & snorkelling
The island we visited was beautiful with crystal aqua water and white sand, lots of rough sand due to coral and shells. The pigs and piglets were cute, you can feed them and they are well looked after. The snorkelling was disappointing for us as it was our first time and it wasn’t very organised, just jump in and be careful of the rocks. Too many people jumping in all at the same time and it was overwhelming the waster wasn’t very clear and my daughter cut her foot on the rocks as someone accidentally kicked her because it was too crowded, this spoiled the experience and we just got back on the boat for first aid. I would suggest staff have two separate areas as there was a total of 45 people on one boat, this would have made more space for everyone. Getting on and off the boat is not altogether safe, there are some rope rails in some areas and then none in other areas walking on plastic floating tiles, very unstable, so be careful. Lunch was quite nice with chicken, fried rice, salad, chips and fruits. The staff were very nice and helpful. We were disappointed to see so much littering, people should respect this beautiful place and put garbage in the bins provided.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the overall experience. We're also sorry to hear about the accident during the trip. Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding the snorkeling organization. We will pass your comments on to the relevant team so they can review and improve the experience for future guests. We appreciate your valuable feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.

Cute piglets
The weather was not great do snorkelling was a waste of time getting in the water. As soon as cloudy. Being as there are very young few days old baby piglets. They need to stop people being near. As it encourages all the other pigs around and they fight and the baby piglets get walked on. Not nice to see.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We are sorry that the weather conditions were not ideal during your visit and understand how this may have affected your experience. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Your comments are valuable to us, and we will discuss them with our team as we continue to improve our services and guest experience. Thank you for helping us do better.

Well organised but far too long on Pig Island
Well organised pick up and return to hotel, but arrived 40 mins before boat due to leave so felt we could have left later and early start unnecessary as we were the only people in our taxi. Staff on board lovely and clearly explained what was going to happen and timings. Snorkelling stop -nice to have a swim, but water quite murky and not much to see. At Pig Island interesting to see the pigs roaming free and lots of babies during our visit but we felt this part of the tour was way too long at 3 hours. Lunch ok, toilet facilities very basic and not clean. Little to do on the island once youve seen the pigs. Water too shallow for swimming. Would have been happy with an hour on Pog island and whole trip being 2 rather than 4 hours.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the trip overall, despite feeling that the duration was longer than expected. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and suggestions. Your comments are valuable to us, and we will forward them to the relevant team for consideration as we continue working to improve the experience for our future guests. Thank you again for your support, and we hope to welcome you on another adventure in the future.

Fun day out
Hotel pickup and drop off was excellent. Staff were kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall I wouldn’t advertise that this tour includes snorkeling as the boat parks too far out away from reefs to see anything, but was nice to swim. Pig island was fun, stunning and a great place to swim. Buffet lunch was just ok. Overall enjoyed myself
Response from the operator: Thank you for your review.

Pig Island (Koh Mudsum) and Koh Tan Tour with Meal from Koh Samui: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Koh Samui.
How much does Pig Island (Koh Mudsum) and Koh Tan Tour with Meal from Koh Samui cost?
+
Prices start at $47 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Koh Samui usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Pig Island (Koh Mudsum) and Koh Tan Tour with Meal from Koh Samui take?
+
Plan for about 6 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Koh Samui is not rushed.
Is Pig Island (Koh Mudsum) and Koh Tan Tour with Meal from Koh Samui worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 58 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.2/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pig Island (Koh Mudsum) and Koh Tan Tour with Meal from Koh Samui?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Pig Island (Koh Mudsum) and Koh Tan Tour with Meal from Koh Samui suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 6-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Pig Island (Koh Mudsum) and Koh Tan Tour with Meal from Koh Samui?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Pig Island (Koh Mudsum) and Koh Tan Tour with Meal from Koh Samui start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Koh Samui within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?
+
On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Koh Samui?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
