Cute Pigs not worth the effort.
We gave this trip such a low score as kayaking was mentioned in title of trip but there was no kayaking. There is very little to do on Pig Island other than watch the cute pigs. The crew took our shoes before we left the harbour which was an issue on Pig Island as sand is full of shells and felt like walking on gravel so not pleasant to wander around. The positives were the lunch was nice, the pigs were cute, the bus transfer and boat were very clean and on time.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your honest feedback. First and most importantly, we sincerely apologise for the disappointment regarding the kayaking. If kayaking was stated in the tour title and was not provided, we completely understand your frustration. This is certainly not the experience we intend to deliver, and we will urgently review how the tour is described to ensure that all information is accurate and clear. We are also sorry to hear that not having your shoes on the island caused discomfort. Your comments about the shells and walking conditions are very helpful, and we will review our procedures to see how we can better advise guests in advance. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, and we will use it to improve both our communication and overall guest experience. We hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide a much better experience. Best Regards Oh-Hoo Team

Petting zoo of pigs and piglets
Fun outing. Basic snorkeling and then a few relaxing hours on Pig Island, with a good lunch included. Despite what I’ve seen posted online, these pigs are not starving or mistreated. This is essentially a petting zoo with pigs and many cute little piglets. Everyone was well behaved, pigs, piglets, dogs, and people alike. And the vast white beaches were quite clean. I enjoyed this. Slightly chaotic in the morning as the different shuttles collected all the tourists, but the rides home were very well organized.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the snorkeling, and relaxing time on Pig Island, and the delicious lunch. We also appreciate your understanding regarding the morning shuttle arrangements and the return rides were smooth and well organized. We hope to welcome you again for another enjoyable day. Misleading advertisement/marketing regarding friendly pigs
We had a funfull morning with the pigs feeding them pellets bought on the island. All the tourists were feeding the pigs as they were advertised as friendly pigs. Not turning out as a good experience. A pig attacked/bited us. The Hospital of Bangkok advised us that they see people on a daily basis . 14 800 baht later, per person, multiple injections for (tetnis and rabies )
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re very sorry to hear about the incident and truly regret that your visit turned out this way. The safety and well-being of our guests are very important to us, and we take this feedback seriously. We will share this information with the local operators to ensure better safety measures are in place. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention — we sincerely hope you are recovering well. Overcomplicated start, but great trip
We got picked up at our hotel at 7:30 in the morning and drove for half an hour to the north east of Koh Samui. There, at the harbour we had to wait for 45 minutes and then proceeded to drive all the way back to our hotel (which we passed at around 9:20) and then a little further to the southern harbour, where we then again had to wait a few minutes. For us this was rather unnecessary stress and a time waste. As we had to get up much earlier than needed and also missed breakfast. We took off around 10:00 at the southern harbour and arrived after 15 minutes at the first destination where we could snorkel and see a lot of fish and corals. We stayed there until 11:00 and proceeded onto Pig Island. There we had time until 14:00 to eat (a rather tasty) lunch, go kayaking, and of course feed the pigs. Overall, the trip and the people were really nice but the start was just badly organised.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the snorkeling, seeing the fish and corals, and spending time at Pig Island. However, we’re very sorry to hear that the start of the day felt stressful due to the pickup route and waiting time at the harbors. We understand how this could be frustrating, especially when it meant waking up earlier and missing breakfast. Your comments are very valuable to us, and we will share this feedback with our operations team to review the pickup and transfer process so we can improve the experience for our guests. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We truly appreciate it and hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you again for an even smoother and more enjoyable trip in the future. Best Regards, Oh-Hoo Team

Not the best experience
Staying on pig island for two hours is too much to watch a bunch of pigs and stray dogs. People were chasing baby pigs to pick them up or pet them and poor dogs are so hungry, they have to eat pig food. It is so sad .
Response from the operator: Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We genuinely appreciate your thoughts and are sorry to hear that your experience on Pig Island did not meet your expectations. We understand that the welfare of the animals and the overall enjoyment of your visit are crucial, and we take your concerns seriously. We will review the situation and work with our partners to ensure that the animals are treated with the respect and care they deserve. Your comments about the conditions on the island and the interactions with the animals are important to us, and we will use them to make necessary improvements. If you have any further details to share or if there's anything specific you would like us to address, please feel free to reach out. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more positive experience in the future. Thank you again for your feedback. Best regards, Oh Hoo Travel

How much does Pig Feeding, Kayaking, Snorkeling Trip at Pig Island By Speedboat From Koh Samui cost?

Is Pig Feeding, Kayaking, Snorkeling Trip at Pig Island By Speedboat From Koh Samui worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 39 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.5/5 across 42 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Koh Samui, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Pig Feeding, Kayaking, Snorkeling Trip at Pig Island By Speedboat From Koh Samui?
+

How far in advance should I book Pig Feeding, Kayaking, Snorkeling Trip at Pig Island By Speedboat From Koh Samui?
+
Around 15 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Koh Samui can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Koh Samui and add a light layer if any part of the 6-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Koh Samui?
+
On Outty we rank every Koh Samui experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angthong National Marine Park VIP Small Group Tour, Cooking Class in Koh Samui with Micro Organic Garden, Half Day Elephant Home Sanctuary in Samui. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Koh Samui?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Koh Samui?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
