Very saddening
We were there way before they close. I pad for the 3 d as well as the 7d experience ( the one with playing the games) the man stood at the entrance and said he is closed, it was a few minutes to 8. The experience goes for 1/2 hr I was told. He said no we couldn’t do it, after a while of him saying no, and I explained I wouldn’t get a refund as I had to go home to Australia. He said sorry, but eventually he let us in and did the first experience and offered another experience the same but a trex one. I paid $23 US do both experiences. I was failed to do both.
Response from the operator: Penny, we are so sorry for the experience you had during your visit. This is not the standard of service we hold ourselves to, and we completely understand your frustration — especially as a visitor traveling all the way from Australia. You paid for two experiences and you deserved to enjoy both of them, full stop. We're glad our team member ultimately accommodated you, but we recognize that should never have been a struggle in the first place. We have shared your feedback with our team to ensure this doesn't happen to future guests. We'd love the opportunity to make this right — please reach out to us directly at clayton.hill@fegllc.com and we will do our best to address your experience. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us.

Not as expected
The flyover is really cool. Great way to see the SF area. 7D was not as expected but it was fun. Quite short.
Response from the operator: Thank you Amanda, so glad The Flyer wowed you — it really is a one-of-a-kind way to see San Francisco! The 7D is a quick but action-packed ride, and we totally get that it leaves you wanting more — that's usually a good sign! We hope you'll make it back to PIER 39 next time you're in the city. Thanks for visiting!

7D Carnival is Amazing! Flyover is Fun!
The 7D Carnival was so much fun! I was screaming and my hands were sore from shooting. Love that you can do again for a discounted rate. I'd definitely do it again. The Flyover was fun. I think it could be a little better and longer, but I recently went to the one on the Las Vegas strip, so it had a lot to live up to. Depending on the city, I'd do it again.

A small attraction, but...
A small attraction, but it doesn’t compare to the major American theme parks — of little interest, except perhaps for the youngest visitors.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, Kays_L. We're sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations. We appreciate your thoughts and will keep them in mind as we continue to improve.

If u can do stairs, You Will Love It
The only reason for 4 instead of 5 is it took a little time to find who to speak to and the numerous starts the location. That being said Staff was amazing and the experience soon much fun

Why this scores 46
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
PIER 39 Flyer Theater & 7D Ride Experience – 2 Attraction Pass: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for San Francisco.
How much does PIER 39 Flyer Theater & 7D Ride Experience – 2 Attraction Pass cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in San Francisco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does PIER 39 Flyer Theater & 7D Ride Experience – 2 Attraction Pass take?
+
Plan for about 0.4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in San Francisco is not rushed.
Is PIER 39 Flyer Theater & 7D Ride Experience – 2 Attraction Pass worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 46 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.6/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in San Francisco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule PIER 39 Flyer Theater & 7D Ride Experience – 2 Attraction Pass?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is PIER 39 Flyer Theater & 7D Ride Experience – 2 Attraction Pass suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book PIER 39 Flyer Theater & 7D Ride Experience – 2 Attraction Pass?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in San Francisco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in San Francisco and add a light layer if any part of the 0.4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does PIER 39 Flyer Theater & 7D Ride Experience – 2 Attraction Pass start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central San Francisco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in San Francisco?
+
San Francisco packs Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Napa and the bay into day-trip range, which makes booking order matter more than anywhere else in the US. Alcatraz sells out weeks ahead, wine-country vans fill on weekends, and the best food walks in the Mission and Chinatown cap at a dozen people. Our ranking favours small groups and guides who live in the neighbourhood they walk. On Outty we rank every San Francisco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Yosemite and Giant Sequoias Day Trip from San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge Muir Woods Sausalito with Optional Alcatraz, Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy: 7 Tastings & History. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit San Francisco?
+
September and October, the city's real summer, once the fog season breaks. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in San Francisco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
